A tad bit warmer than here.

I researched that it went down to -20 low and -2 high on Jan 2, 2010. That was the coldest day in winter 2009-10.

In this age of weather extremes, what is "average?"
It will be like putting one foot into a bucket of boiling water and the other foot into one with freezing water and proclaiming, "On average, I feel okay!"

Average Jan low 12.5F

Yeah, it gets wicked cold up here. I don't mind the cold as much as I mind the hot and humid summer we had.
I go to school near the Canadian border in NY. There was one weekend last winter that it didn't get above 3 degrees. That was pretty brutal, especially having to walk outside in order to get anywhere on campus.

Santa Rosa!? No shit?! That's where my dad has lived my entire life and I spent a lot of time there. I grew up just up the 101 in Healdsburg. LOL, small world. Were you mainstreamed or did you go to CSDF?

Anyway, according to weather.com, avg temps for here in Lafayette, IN are 33/17, but I swear it gets a lot colder than that. The last two winters, I doubt it ever went above 25 degrees during the day, and usually dropped into single digits at night, with about a week of sub zero nighttime temps.
