First off, i'm not about to give anything away, so dont get all bitchy. Now that i've said that, screw what the critics said, if you loved the first 2, the 3rd is pretty damn good. Sure it didnt end the way i thought it would, but then it wasnt my story to tell either.

Screw the critics, I saw the film today and I have to say that it was damn good too as well.

Definitely different from what I was expecting but that's pretty much a good thing.
 
By the way, even the people who claim to be hardcore fans of The Matrix was wrong after viewing Reloaded because they thought that they understood what it was all about.

But they didn't.

The critics clearly don't get it.
 
Banjo, tell me about it. I really think the critics are on crack or are too snooty for their own good.
I mean that dumb "School of Rock" movie has been universally acclaimed,
I'm surprised that they didn't rave about Gigli.
They also trashed the Texas Chainsaw Massarce but I thought it was VERY well done! (and apparently a lot of people agree with me!)

I agree, Texas Chainsaw Massacre was faithfully remade and surpassed my expectations to tell you the truth.

The Matrix Trilogy, simply a complex bunch of tales. The Animatrix is a must see too as well.

Gigli, let's not speak of that movie. ;)

Anyway, the reason why I like the Matrix is because it's a very refreshing trilogy and I have to say a lot of people don't get it at all. This is pretty much a philosophically-loaded trilogy, this isn't the for the faint of heart.

Even if you think it doesn't make sense, it does make sense but you just haven't connected the dots yet.

Yesterday, I went to IMAX theatre to watch the matrix: the final chapter aka Matrix: revolutions. I knew Matrix meant to be a trilogy like "Born, Life, and Death" It is the best action I have ever seen since I born. it is the best speical effects in groundbreaking ever since Star wars trilogy. Neo finally faced the most powerful Machine ever in the world. No human has ever go far into the Machine world but Neo and his girlfriend, trinry did it. Now, I am understanding the storylines on the whole Matrix trilogy.

In fact Matrix trilogy is the best movies ever. No one can match that not even Star wars trilogy. Now, I understand why people do not like Matrix reloaded but What can I say, it's a 180 degree turn. Revolutions takes all the philosophies established in Reloaded, but instead of developing them more, it blasts them to smitherines... literally. This flick contains some of the most relentless action sequences ever put to film.

I'm not sure which is the better film yet (I'm one of the few that appreciated Reloaded), but I'm sure that those who didn't like Reloaded will definitely like Revolutions more. However, from a purely entertainment point of view, Revolutions is way better. Unlike Reloaded, there's not a single boring moment here.

my partner and i are behind with movies! and im sure there are others who are also behind as well LOL so be nice to the folks who are SLOW in keeping up with the new releases LOL

*gets busy playing catch up* :lol: cuz i know i LOVED the first Matrix movie and hadnt been able to see the 2nd or 3rd :-x my bad im slow LOL
 
I agree with fly I didn t get to see matrix 2 or 3 yet SO HUSH on the plot please!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna see it and will during the thanksgiving weekend i knwo the matrix reloaded is out on DVD will get it that week PLUS waiting for some other movies to come out as well! however THIS is extrodinary when it comes out during holidays seasons I hope i can snatch it BEFORE it s OUT GROWL!~

Fly Free, I did not spoil anything... Everyone knows neo meets the most powerful machine in the world. How? by watching the matrix trailer on tv or at theatre with some another movies.

Hehe.. just give your rating.. don't talk about it ;) I haven't seen it yet. I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd one... so... shhh so that everyone else and see the last one :)

Perhaps something that should have been posted first.... however had i ment for the thread to go in that direction i would have posted a warning that the thread would have spoilers in it, rather i said i wouldnt give away anything till whats his name decided to start posting stuff. FYI, i never saw anything about the leader of the robots in the previews i saw. If you want to start another thread wtih spoilers, then title it as such, but keep them outa my thead, hijack another thread.
 
Two words for Matrix Revolution: BEYOND EXCELLENT!

We just got home from the movie theatre and my eyes are still kind of burning from staring at a couple of LONG great fight scenes!
