What is the main reason you would like to move out of state?

Number 8.. This state isnt where I want to stay. I have some reasons.

Not sure, we'd want to move somewhere for a something new/change of scenery, find better job opportunities, go somewhere less crowded with deafies because there is too many here.. and some of them are just plain immature..and lower cost of living. When we find which place has what we would like to have, we might consider moving before the kids get older..education here for my kids is good, I have no problem with that.. I'm just not too fond of being in suburbs or city, i like the country life-- less crowded with people, both hearing and deafies..maybe out of Philly, somewhere in PA, I dont know ;)

I moved already from Calif to Dallas, Texas. I fulfilled all of my needs from Sabrina's list :)

I'm so amazed after 4 years here. Yes the weather's a little humid than usual, but so is the beach at Calif. It's also warmer here year round except in winter where your nuts are frozen off. :D Thankfully it's a very short winter anyway! There are actually 4 seasons here, but people could disagree here.. PHBBT!

I bought a huge house within one year, live in a small town of 12,000 people just outside the border of the Dallas Metro area.. I live near 2 huge lakes. It couldn't be better.

The deaf community isn't too bad here, I already found them all and organized a Coffee Chat thing monthly. We're growing to maybe 4 or 5 locations now through the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex if things go well. For now, there's 2 locations.

Anyway...

hmm.. i've already given myself the chance to move out of minnesota, and I apparently keep coming back. I moved out to Colorado for several reasons -
1 - get to know my birth mom better,
2 - start a new life,
3 - needed to get away from dad for awhile,
4 - got bored of being in one place all the time.

Im sure theres others, but this is all I can come up with. Minnesota is NOT the best place to live, but for me, i've spent practically my WHOLE life here, so its home - comfort. I left Colorado cause I didnt have any sense of "home"-ness with it. *shrugs* If i wasnt dating someone right now, i'd move again - anywhere. *shrugs*

1. To be with the one you love.
2. Good weather and sun.
3. Beaches
4. Lots of activities.
5. Clubs!! Dancing!!

:D

If I found her BEFORE I moved, then we would discuss...maybe move to a place where we both agree. But, more than likely, I will move to a location and hopefully find her there.

1. to have a lower cost of living or lower taxes

State of Massachusetts is cost of living horrible higher. :( The house is triple the price than south and west.

2. to live somewhere with better weather

I already hate cold, freeze and damp weather. I have been trying to avoid wet and humdity due to arthritis in my knees and shoulder.

3. to go somewhere less crowded or stressful

I love to live in country with log cabin house/fire place

4. to find better job opportunities

absolutely, need more challenge and better career

5. to be closer to family or friends

I try very hard to find the best location to be closer to my family.

6. to try something new/change of scenery

Something different enirovment and social life

7. for a better school system

My children almost finish their High School

8. some other reason

Got tired of hearing about my ex husband in New England. :ugh:

I may like to move down to Arizona but I can't predict. I am very closer relationship with my two boys. :)

you heard this WHERE? You have been slightly misinformed. Yes, its a strong community, bound by gossip, tricks, and lies. Occasionally you meet good people like Annie (MsGiglz) and I. *brags* ;) Its all in how you look at it. MN is a good place to visit, an OK place to live; but if you're Deaf - take caution, thats all. Protect your privacy or you'll end up like Annie or myself, with no privacy about your past or .. etc.. etc.. im done.. =X
