Yes I know... I like Walmart alot better than Kmart or Target... cuz of Walmart prices are awesome!.. sales sales sales!!
:werd: I love Walmart. The one most common thing I buy are DVDs. They are so fucking cheap! They sell for 1/2 to 3/4 the original price at release!

Here's a good one.

Walmart just stopped a policy of taking out life insurance on their employees. They they paid for it by taking money out of the employees paychecks.
When the employees died.. all the money went to Walmart.

Can you tell I don't like Wally World? :)

where did it says that?

Myself work at wal-mart.. they don't take life insurance payment out of my check.. But i have life insurance through wal-mart.. the company pays for it... but it's low life insurance $25,000 but.. employees have choice to have more value of life insurance but yeah they'll take out of check.. only cheap around $.75 per paid period depends how much value u want. and no.. walmart don't keep the money.. the money goes to the family for those who have died (funeral payment, credit card payment, etc..)

They used to do this.. They stopped when there were no longer any 'tax advantages'.

I wouldn't be surprised... at the same time,
I just read that Walmart does NOT treat
their employees very well. This could be
difficult to predict what will happen to
Walmart in the future.

Im speechless about how walmart took the money after someone dies... That is the first time Ive heard about this. Hopefully things will get better for the Employees Would hate to see Walmart shut down.. I love that store!

well.. they treat me fine and all well :D

but now... the UNION want to take control of Wal-mart... that scares me.. cuz i don't wanna pay for Union Fee.... Wal-Mart don't want Union to be involved with wal-mart...

Reason union want to take control of wal-mart because of major volume of empoyees cuz they employee more than million people an average of 200 employees per store.. in U.S. alone that is more than any other stores nationwide or business nationwide.

My Wal-Mart in Pinellas Park, FL has about 700 employees. We are the number 1 Wal-Mart in the company. Last year, we was number 2. I got a pin and a shirt for being number 1. I will get a ring soon from the company.

Here's the picture of the pin that says that my store is number 1!

That's the problem being stuck between a company that don't treat their employees well and a union that won't advocate Deaf labor rights.

I paid union fees expecting support for getting job promotions and raises, and I got nothing from either employer and union! What a waste of money!

well.... Let me ask each of u who work at Wal mart ... Does they provide the insurance benefits ????? ummmm......

No, if you work part time....no full time jobs at Walmart, thats what i heard unless that has changed, so if it is true that it is part time job, then no benefits at all...is that right, Gatorboy?

Since I know out there that Wal Mart is working or making the personal computer as PC. What if the Wal Mart invent the car, house, fast food. Would be that weird??

Someone already invented the car, and fast food, houses were invented along time ago, maybe you live in 1?

HUH!? At my store, full-time employee is who they hire first! I have about 700 employees at my Wal-Mart, and about 100 of them works part-time.

It still don't matter if you work part-time or full-time, you still can get insurance. You just have to pick an insurance plan and it will be deducted from the paychecks.

Well then it did change! used to be that it was all part time jobs except office/managment and management gets the benefits and all but like you said, they hire full time too, thats cool! One rumor i heard that the Walmart manager got $100,000.00 bonus at Christmas! i thought thats crazy! and i dont believe it either!

Inver Grove Heights just opened Wal*Mart on Jan 28th, its really nice inside. Before they built it, I was opposed to it, and did fought against building new one when I ran for City Council in 2002. It causes the city council election to have 12 other candidates (I ran on other issues besides Wal*Mart). When they opened it, and my mom talked me into go there, I changed my mind, now I like Wal*Mart. St. Paul will have their first Wal*Mart opening in May, only one that is on bus line because most Wal*Mart are in suburbs. I did went to Wal*Mart in Lubbock, TX when I visted a friend.. they have 2 Wal*Mart there. For Kmart and Target, I do shop there sometimes but not alot at Kmart. Inver Grove Heights wal*Mart has camera, restuant, nail salon, photo studio, a bank in it too.
