What drink did you have today?

I forget it name sniffle on bottle I don't remember, I remember rim 8% percent!
I think so I don't like cooler, I prefer on rim and sniftler :lol:
 
Tonight I am having a frozen Margarita. They sell pouches that are all mixed up - just throw into the freezer for 8 hours - and voila!

I like the pre-mixed stuff - as try as hard as I might - I just can't seem to make a decent Margarita. So I usually buy the bottle of it all mixed. The pouch stuff is pretty good too - easy to do. Just rip open and squeeze into a glass rimmed with salt and a wedge of lime. Yummy!
 
Oh forgot to add - I have a Magic Bullet. I use that to make frozen drinks with Kaluha and half and half.

wild turkey 101 8 yo bourbon is ok nothing spectacular but its still enjoyable

those blue labels JW are really mostly 18-20 years old, with some drops of 25 years there and here, doubt it would have much nor even more than 6 tiny drops of those 50 years old lingering about in the bottle you wouldnt notice i'd doubt it. if 50 yo, chances are its exxagerated, its prolly no more that a 30 year old...

i had an 18 JW gold, it was CRAP, got a 15 yo green though which is more of 4x single malt blended together unlike blends that have malt and grains...

cant say much till i opened it..which will be a while yet
 
Garnacha 2009

I'm having some Spanish red wine tonight. It's a single grape wine - Garnacha, that's often used in blended red ports and Riojas. I'm drinking the 2009 vintage. The aroma (or bouquet) is rather mild and doesn't reveal that this wine has a full-bodied taste that is sweet as well (or my nose is a little blocked up as I normally find that the bouquet gives a good hint to the taste to follow). The colour is like black cherry. ABV is 14%

Just before I posted this I found this review of my wine by an expert. I was pleased to see that my notes agreed with his in a couple of places, though his notes are far more expansive and descriptive

I'm drinking a real ale tonight called "Old Bob". 5.1% ABV. Distinctive reddish hue. A malty smell & flavour. It has a sweet taste that I like.

i want to get Peregrine 2010 Pinot Noir but it will be hard to get as its made in small numbers...reputated as Elite Gold nedalist in NZ's wine competitions

I wonder if any of those beers travel well?...
In England there are hundreds of different local beers, some that never travel out of their local area. If I'm in a different part of the country, I'll always try the local stuff first.
 
In honor of this thread, I'm putting a little vodka in my next soda. I work at home but I'm done for the day so that should be okay...
 
I could really go for a nice cold drink like strawberry daiquiri or pina colada.
