I have a siemens triano sp and a lgvx988 which is used to work great until my hearing diminished.

I did have problems with land line phone sometimes. They never seemed to be loud enough.
 
Several of my friends who wear hearing aids have reported good success using clamshell or flip cell phones by Motorola and Sprint.

10 years ago I used a Dialogue XL-50 amplified phone. One of the nice features of this phone was the ability to use direct audio input (DAI) allowing me to hear binaurally. This phone also has a 90 dB ringer, adjustable volume/tone controls as well as adjustable ring tone (high/medium/low).
