Do you put swiss cheese on Brunswagger sandwich or what?

The spelling I have seen on at least one brand in the US is Braunschweiger.

And to answer the OP's question — I leave it plain in a bun or between two pieces of white bread.

Mine is two slices of white bread, mustard, onions, sweet pickles and of course
braunschweiger.

Oh goodness. I just looked it up. It's pork liver sausage.

Not kosher, not appealing, and will probably clog your arteries in no time. :barf:

I agree. I can't stand it, and will never eat it. It's nasty.

I'm not Jewish so I eat it, but only once a year because of the high calories.
It is an unusual taste you have to get used to, and different companies make it so it can vary a little.

Closest I've seen according to the definition above of pork liver sausage is Liverwurst and I hated that.

In all fairness you might not like some of the Kosher food I eat. I like pickle herring with Russian rye bread . It's hard to find good rye bread today .

We had it occasionally when I was growing up on a farm...wasn't too bad if I didn't eat a lot....way I had it was toasted bread, mayo, sliced tomatoes.......
