No you're not along here , I was trying to see if anyone else feel the same way as I do about Xmas . The best part the holidays is when they're all over! People go back to being more civilized, no peppering spaying ,pushing etc fellow shopper.

I never understand why lots of people arent fond of fruitcake yet they keep sending or giving to someone else. :lol: I am not a fond of fruitcake B-b-but, my mom did make fruitcake.. WHOAAAAAaaaaa I dont mind eating my mom homemade fruitcake. WHY she bought the expensive brandy and the right taste of fruitcake. So she asked me every year if i want or not. I had to decline it because no one like it exceptme and feel bad for mom. brandy is so expensive! if she ask me again this year. i will ask her if she can make cakecup that will do!

I hate traditional fruitcake. I have a very light fruitcake recipe that I like, though.

I'm going to bake some mincemeat cookies. It sounds gross, but they turn out super moist and yummy.
