What did you learn today?

I have learned that playing trivia with a bored USDA inspector can be quite entertaining. The trivia started out quite innocent, it really did, then it just sort of made its way to the gutter, LOL.
 
I learned that 98 percent of Boeing 747 jetliner is recyclable. :shock:
 
I have learned that my son actually remembers details from an assignment he got in 2nd grade at age 7. He is 15 and loves to educate us on the Viking Voyages and Ancient Greece as well.
 
I am learned that I am short :mad2:
 
I just learned what "Muffin Top" is :o
 
I learned that my hubby is not a very truthful person. I have caught him in so many lies it's not funny. It's usually regarding little things, but after 17 years, it's getting old.

"no, honey, I promise I didn't eat the orange that you his in the drawer under the celery and carrots"

"no honey, I really didn't eat any of ??'s pop tarts."

"no, my appointment really is at 4pm, I know I told you 2, but I wanted to make sure you wrote it down."

And the list goes on......
 
I learned that they are laying people off at my job. I also learned that there aren't really any open positions in the hospitals near me. :(

Ubuntu is nicer for sure. No $, who's to complain?
Beware though, make sure all your components will be supported beforehand. Nothing like getting frustrated the wireless won't work - been there! :sadwave:
 
I learned last week that my friend was slapped with $1,800+ speeding ticket and the friend owes me $400 :|

Sounds like epic fail to me. Why so high? What was the offense?

Unfortunately, I did - I had to tell her to stop speeding, she now has realized and will need to slow down for the time being as she has a point left before she can say good bye to her license :shock:
