What did you learn today?

I have to perform a song in the artistic interp class at my school tomorrow.

Super nervous.

Now I learn that hubby really doesn't want to leave Florida. I think he is just getting nervous about the lack of jobs anywhere and things like that. MIL tells me that her health is really not as good as she believes and hopes that we can stay here. She will leave us the house that is totally paid for and there are bank accounts where the interest pays the taxes each year. Financially, in the long run, she is well off, but it's all tied up in CD's and such. She is slowly fixing up the house for us and really wants us to remain and inherit it without having to make another major move. I do see all the positives there and feel a little better for it. It's just very hard not having space.

My new thing to try and help. Keep in mind that we live in a tiny apartment with benefits. Maybe that will help me regarding the lack of space.

I learned my DD is still scoring above average in her skill sets at school. Her only hang up is that she reads too fast and gets ahead of herself. We have been working on slowing down her reading a bit. Hopefully this will improve in a few weeks.

you can't force me my own way choice decision!

Your decision to drink that crap basically showed that you're not ready to face up to your addiction and get help for it.

You can talk about it but you'd get more respect if you actually do something about the problem.

All I can think is "good things come to those who wait" in this situation. However, it would require a lot and lot of patience or something that you all reaaaaallly want.

Hope you will figure things out soon.

Then don't even drink it right now.

Pour it out in the sink right now. Throw away the can, have your mom or sister hide them.

No, I have no idea what it is called..I think the "loop" method.

Is it the 'Windsor'? I usually fold my scarf in half, then lay it across the back of my neck. I hold the folded end in my left hand and the 'loose' end in my right hand. I loop the loose end through the folded end and pull the loose end until the scarf is desirably snug or loose, whichever I choose. I've been told this is the 'Windsor'.

Never heard that being the Windsor. I've heard it referred to an European Loop.
