just as a stipulation in ya court proceedings ya should put in that ha should pay for the flight to you & back. It was his decision to move her out there he should foot the bill.

Common Sense? cockblocking every effort to not let her daughter see Shel? Seeing that ex-husband is much richer than Shel who can barely afford flight ticket? yea I'm sure Judge will favor ex-husband.

Yesterday I learned how to make a quilt top for a long arm quilting machine.

Not going to comment on this specific situation...

A) Because that would be disrespectful of a Member
B0 This is not a debate thread
and

C) We only have one side of the story.

Common sense says....in general....judges don't care for parents playing those games. Either parent.

I learned that AD was worse in years past, but currently is much better.

I am not commenting on the members situation. I am commenting on your advice.

Your advice "don't pay for the return ticket" is bad advice..... Good advice would be.... "you should ask your lawyer what you can do about this".

I have to say you're right to say Shel would have to consult with her lawyer about this issue.

My sister is currently going thru something similiar, and she had to consult with lawyer so many time and it's very costly.

I know it's tempting to pull the fast one on the ex but don't do it. Sometimes you have to pay a personal price to be the better person than the ex.
 
I am thinking.... Man oh man am I tired. I have just finished fixing dinner, but I have already done the 6 pies for Thanksgiving, the cranberry jello, and the table centerpieces. This was after I took MIL to her therapy appointment. Tomorrow, we get MIL's new glasses, therapy again, then I have more baking to get done. In case you didn't know, I am the one doing dinner this year again. And, MIL just informed me this morning, we are having 10 people besides the 6 in our family. Aye-yi-yi!!

My lawyer said that I can do that since on paper, we still have joint custody here in Maryland.

I wont do it because I dont want to put my daughter in that ugly position.

There is no court order yet...we havent started the custody battle yet. The first date is Dec 22nd. Finally!
