actually I was PFH's sponsor for his AA meeting. I got furious because when we met up, he reeked of booze and he was heavily intoxicated. But to my amazement - after the AA meeting, the alcoholics/recovering alcoholics suddenly became a changed person. He's that disgusting.

oh and the AA counselor became an alcoholic. how ironic. :dunno:

I learned that Verizon is still annoying...
 
Learned this morning that I got offered an Permanent Part-time position at the place where I currently work. Hmm, I could work more hours if I like.

Verizon had placed an account password on our account without our knowledge. We couldn't do anything with the account, not even pay the bill. They would not talk to us until about the account. Mom called them 3 times and after 45 minutes of run around on the automated system finally got a half-assed customer service rep. He was rude and completely uninterested in what she had to say.

Come to find out that only my dad could upgrade his phone even though we all bought new phones at the same time.

I will be trying to get my phone cut off the family plan account and switch to AT&T after Christmas. I am done with them.

Not a relative or anyone I know. Just a blonde Chinese child indicating a long Roman historical presence in an area of China call Liquan. I just got interested in this history the other night.

There are Chinese mummies going back to 1000 BCE showing this mix of Occidental and Oriental features.

I may be biased but I have always thought kids with mixed races have the most exotic looks.

My father's younger half brother married a Japanese woman, and I have to admit my cousin from their marriage is an extremely good looking guy. :lol:

Have you ever seen Asian/black people? I know this black man who married a Japanese woman and their children are soooo unusual looking and very very beautiful.

I did know a Korean/black girl who was in my younger daughter's class. Very beautiful.

I put a picture of my older granddaughter in the pictures thread for privacy, but so you can see her.

I have decided I will pay my parents the $350 fee and I will leave it to them if they want to terminate it early or not as technically the phone is their phone and not mine. My mom is the 'authorized user' for the account, I couldn't just terminate it myself.

I can then turn around in January or February and go get a contract with AT&T. This has been the 2nd time Verizon has given us a runaround when we wanted to upgrade. The last time we ALL had to upgrade, not just one person.

If I had my own contract, my own plan, I could upgrade as I see fit without having to get the entire family involved.
