Oh interesting, my relative's friend lives in apartment with 2 roommates so just require 12 month lease, even enrollment at Auburn University is not required.
Well Vista Place is partially owned by ATU and there is usually an overflow of students vs. available housing and many are often roomed in local hotels and nearby apartment complexes that are within walking distance. When dorms become available these overflow students are moved on campus. Because there is already a housing shortage in the area with more people renting vs buying, Vista Place requires that you be enrolled at ATU to qualify for an apartment. Summer students may be able to extend their leases through the summer and renew in the fall. However this is not what I know, only what I've heard from students living at Vista Place.
