What did you learn today?

Strange...but I've started wearing socks...and not going around barefoot anymore (which I love to do)...I had 2 big-toe ingrown toe nails for many years....and got the nail that was embedded into the side of my toe out myself every month or so....painful, yeah...But a relief when it was out....

Dunno if socks will help (but it did for me)...

I would not want to have that operation done without a shot to deaden the toe. That would be the definition of torture. Beyond that though I am not one to take painkillers if I can avoid it and did not take anything after have that done. I did one foot and then the other not both at the same time.

It is one of those things, it seemed kind of not right to just make the toenails go away but as you know it is one of those aggravating pains that takes a toll on what you do and grinds away at you year in and year out.

I have not missed them the slightest bit. It is surprising that when people notice if I am barefoot or in sandals it kind of affects their mind a little.

As a man for my woman I have often thought how nice it would be to have no nails at all on the three bigger fingers on my left hand.

My whole family had them, started with my dad and I think 6 out of 7 of us kids had them. My dad had it bad, he finally rolled over his toe with a hospital bed and it broke through the skin. We all had surgery done, not removing the whole nail OMG. They just cut down the sides and that pretty much worked. I had to have mine done twice. Then my poor daughter got one after getting her very first pedicure. She had to have the surgery too. Weird that something like ingrown toenails can be passed from generation to generation. My mom use to take a piece of bread and soak it in hot water, then wrap it around the sore toe. It helped many, many times.

People can be so cruel. Just ignore them, you know that you are a good person.

Dreamer-- people make fun of me all the time on here. Do I let it bother me and pout about it? No, I do not. I just ignore it and focus on other things to keep my mind busy. It's really easy to do for me.

Dreamer, they are amused by your reaction, don't give them one. If you have no one to confide in, stay tight and true, you are better than to stoop at their low standards. :)

Thank you jess, i usually dont let it bother me just i guess today it was too much. But you are right i shouldnt have let them see a reaction.
 
It would be different if it were 99% of the site making fun of you like they do Mark dreamer... at least it's only one douche... that way you know it's just someone being a douche and you not being a complete idiot. :D

It sickens me to bear witness to a human being be so malicious towards another. I'm sorry this happened, but at least you hopefully learned some new lessons about yourself and the world this time around!
 
I learned how to use a pc /laptop all over again lol I am so used to my iphone and pressing wrong buttons here in AD:giggle:
 
Always check your pockets before doing Laundry... because if you don't you may find somethings you were looking for... like a 20$ bill that fell out when your clothes were in the wash. Now to air dry that 20$...

ha ha someone told me that PC/laptop is for old people to use it while phone is for young people. I think they are wrong.

computer or laptop is a nice big screen to view it! Ipad is OK. :lol:

Im still using PC to access to PC I have a HARD TIME using iphone to access to AD when I had no choice. lol
