What did you learn today?

I learned that Southern IL has a bunch of snow down there-- a rarity. My parents aren't able to do much of anything, and I hope they will be all right.

NZ is a LONG way from Mexico. Heck, even I'm a ways from Mexico, where I'm at. I'm sitting in the far northernmost portion of the city, so I'd have quite a ways to get there.
 
That I will never get a small dog again! They're pain in the butt! I never seen a dog at fussy as Marty as to where he pee or poop! I love him but he's a pain.

Oh no, he is still having issues going out in the snow? When I was watching my daughters dog he wouldn't do his business in my backyard. He is use to living in an apartment and being walked to pee and poop. I had to walk him 3-4 times a day. It was great for me health wise but it was a pain in the rear.

Maybe you can try those dog pads I told you about. Put it in the bathroom or laundry room and just wait for him to pee on it. If he does give him a treat. I really don't know though, I hope things get easier for you and Marty.

My bathroom is too small and I do not have laundry room I my unit. My condo is small it's only 812 sq. ft. Thank you, it would not be so bad my condo was plowed better. I really hope I can sell it and move.

I wish I could be of more help. My Marley just so happens to prefer to pee on those pads. We started her as a puppy and when I leave the house, which is not too often, she stays in the laundry room. It's really big, has her bed, toys etc. plus one of those pads. Hopefully the weather will get better soon.
 
I learned of my intensified hatred of the deadly combination of pantyhose, heels, and skirts.
 
I learned that sometimes my dreams can tell the future, a little at a time. Had that happen before.
 
I learned about stroke and epilepsy in dogs, Jetta my lovely girl - German Pointer had a bad attack of one of this today...not too pleased......but pleased she's recovering already but is in hossy for an overnight observation

boy i MISS HER ALREADY, even with Coco under my chair now, i still something's missing...horrible
gosh i dont realise how much I loves them!!, tears rolling down....
 
I learned that there are different kinds of MiFi security, and I also learned that my laptop security, BitDefender, stopped a Trojan Horse from gaining access to my laptop :shock: Good thing it did, or my personal information would've been compromised. I have no regrets about using this security; if I had been questioning its usefulness before, I certainly am not now.

You sure have a misconception of Southern Illinois and snow! The amount we have had close together is rare BUT snow is NOT rare in Southern Illinois. Just because ours is not to the depth that Chicago get does not mean we do not get snow every winter.

That is what I was talking about-- the amount of snow they have there now. I used to grow up there, and back then, I didn't see as much.

Would you mind telling us what town in Southern Illinois you grew up in? I get the impression your folks are no longer in the one where you grew up.

They're still there. They live in Flora, IL. That area doesn't see as much snow, and the last time I can remember that much was 10 years ago during a home visit for Christmas. Since then, I don't know if they've gotten that much or not. :dunno:, but I know they've had some bad ice lately. My stepmom tells me about the snow and ice down there, and she says the snow is quite a bit. In fact, I was just there last December.

You weren't sensitive to Mexican Coke but some people are... because of different water source.
