Some cant stand on their own 2 feet.

My goddaughters grandma, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last month. She is 63 years old, had a complete mastectomy, plus another major surgery. Today, she found out she would need chemo. She decided NOT to have it.

Doctor says, without chemo, she could live six to eight years. With chemo, fourteen to twenty years. She has not recovered from the major surgeries yet, I think this is what is making the decision more difficult for her.

My sister-in-law has a type of blood cancer it was also stage three, required one biopsy and she is on her fifth round of chemo and will find out in a few weeks if the chemo worked.

Just sitting here thinking about life.......

I learned that the granddaughter of an evangelist we know was murdered yesterday. :(

She was only 28 years old, married to a preacher. They have a one year old child, and she was 12 weeks pregnant.

The killer broke into their home while the husband was out, assaulted and shot her. The toddler was home and unharmed.

:(

Just saw this on the news this morning. The terrible, horrible things such as this just go on and on. What a beautiful family that was! So very sorry.

Reba, I am truly sorry to hear this. My deepest condolences to everyone who knew her.

Thank you. This has been a terrible shock for many of our friends.

Amanda's organs were donated upon her death.

Reba and angle... There are no words... I can only throw each of you a hug...

Thank you. I didn't know her personally but I know her grandparents. It's been very hard on them.

Awful crime.
I learn got have operation on my eye I ask Surgen what involved I given a general ansthetic then woken up half way through operation to use me eyes he say worst bit of operation when I awake and see him coming towards me with disecters.I so wish he not been so graphic it putting me off

:aw: oh, why do you need the operation caz?
sometimes the surgeons aren't very reassuring:aw:

Have never heard of anything like that Caz. I know I've had local anesthetic on the eye itself when I had both lens implants done so was awake during them but didn't see him (the other eye was covered so still didn't see the doctor. For the eye muscle surgery I was knocked out (thankfully...)

I had stroke and it left me with squint and everything's looks like light refraction I can only use one eye ,if I use 2 eyes l nearly blind..good example when type on here my spelling naffy I miss letters in visual field..The worst was misjudging the step on the train between train and track fell over lost shoe under tack..I have do something because I would not trust me self with grandchildren

I learned there are more important issues to be concerned about than all the little petty things. People and animals dying out there.

Some good news for a change....son gets the keys to his new house next Wednesday. Pretty fast escrow. Super excited for them.

I learned today that my granddaughter has pneumonia and I don't know if this is what she had all week or a virus . She had a x ray today after having a low grade fever and cough for a week. I was going to see her and my daughter this weekend but not now . She only 10 yo and has pneumonia . :(
