I work third shift at a small assisted living facility (9 residents) as a cook/caregiver. It's an old building in an even older section of town. I just said goodbye to my trainer, leaving me with three hours left solo on my second day. I lock the door as precautionary measures due to the shadiness of the neighborhood. Alarms go off if any other internal doors exiting to the enclosed courtyard, which is indicated by a wallmount, it also lights up to the room number when the call light goes off.
Everyone is in their room...bout 345a, I was putzing around when I saw a figure, corner of my eye. I look up, thinking it may had been a resident, nothing there. I check down the hallways, thinking maybe I missed them....nope, nothing. So I go back into the kitchen, playing with my phone, leaning against the counters, the work radio in the background. I hear this male voice say something and it wasn't the radio because some chick was singing and the volume of the voice was louder than the radio. This voice has to be pretty close. I looked around and again, nothing. I turned the radio off. As I turned it off, I watched this....(i don't want to say shadow, because it was mostly transparent, but darker like bad lighting?) figure walk past me.
Now, I've had experience with some weird s***, but this never seems to fail to raise some hairs..

6 hours or 9hours depending where you are.i assuming it about 1pm your time not far of 7pm here
 
and now it my bed time..this site far better than brit one that why come on it just pain the time difference
 
I learned what a warn notice is. I work in supermarket with an union. My union sent out an email saying that A&P informed the different unions that their employees are in that it (A&P) plans to give a warn notice to all of the employees. I am praying for my union brothers and sisters will be given these notices.
 
don't leave children alone on computer with website open...Little brat has put something on this forum where I don't know but it not approbrate for that thread and I got signature I did not ask for

I learned that in addition to my non-functioning thyroid, chronic hives and Parkinson's Disease, I now have Sjogren's Syndrome. :(

have Sjogrens myself all day felt like fb in eye...I just use artificial tears also got the same thyroid condition,i believe there can be connection between thyroid and SJG all I can say not everyday is as bad,today my dry eye bad but last weeks or so been ok with the tear drops..So try not get to downhearted with it

I've had the dry eyes for at least 20 years, and have used artificial tears all that time (gallons), several times a day. My eyes are red, and they burn, swell and ache all the time. I also had all four punctal ducts cauterized.

I'm sorry that you have it, too. It's no fun. :hug:

I am sorry to hear this ,:hug: I had to look this up and say that is cause you to have a dry mouth , I remeber you saying something you having a dry mouth awhile ago . What do you do for this ?

Thank you.

I don't know yet. I just got the lab results today. I have to make more appointments at VA medical. I have to take a pulmonary function test, then make an appointment with my general practice doctor, rheumotology and ophthalmology.

I am so sick of medical appointments!
