You are forgetting that I ride trains a LOT. This isn't temporary loss we're talking about. We're talking permanat loss, and that may be part of the reason why-- because of train noises, which I AM around quite a bit. I just did not expect to wake up fully deaf this morning.
I know you're talking about permanent hearing loss , I was told my hearing would not get worst that it would stay the same and that is not true. I had lost more hearing and I could wake up one day deaf too. We have a train in my city but people were complaining about the horn being blown at odd hours so the train can't blow it horn anymore. That is a drag you loss more hearing , I do not know ASL and my daughter and granddaughter did not want to learn it with me so I hope I do not lose what hearing I do have .
