I'm going to live to 95+.
I had my kids after age 32.
I expect to live to at least my mid 80's based on family history.

My mom was 93 yo when she dies , dad was 75 yo give or take a few years. Dad's family had no birth records . I know I do not want to live a long as my mom did , I am not trying to break in any record in my family as living the longest. The way this world it heading I really see no point in trying to live a long time.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way too.

My mom is almost 83 and she is healthier then I am. I received a second chance when I woke up from my coma. There is a lot I can not do, but a lot I am going to try to do. I try my best to not dwell on all the negative news, it is really depressing. As long as I am in reasonably good health I want to live long enough to enjoy my future grandchildren and maybe great grandchildren. My kids need to get busy:giggle:

That is wonderful you woke from your coma. My mom was bed ridden at the end in pain . She was very tried and had outlived her whole family . There 8 kids in her family and one of her sister was only in her 20 when she dies and two brothers dies very young too . Mom baby brother dies before her too. Dad was active till the day he dies.

I learned that there is a cute guy working on the ambulance. I like this replacement

Do not drive motorcycles through grass... ever.... Drove my motorcycle through the grass ( right after the sprinkler went off *herp durp I know!* ) and got the fun experience of a 160! I threw myself below the bike to save it from any scratches or damage ( I SUCCEEDED!!! Not one tiny scratch, ding or anything! ) However, I also succeeded at making my entire body sore, bruised and I am not completely sure, but good lordy my tailbone... oh my.... my tailbone... Got a nice tailpipe burn too! *sizzle* Worth it! ;)

That is an easy fix. I always had to take my bike around the house through the grass and yard down the hill to park it in the basement and never dropped it. Don't ride it normally just walk it through the grass slowly riding the clutch and you won't have a problem.

I popped off the clutch.... it was wet... nothing I do on a regular basis... It's not something I practice on the regular... it was a freak accident with wet grass, a wet clutch lever and bad timing...

P.S. I am sooooo not walking a 650 pound bike... I can ride it slowly... but I'm not walking that beast... it's a pain enough. Freak accidents happen, I happen to be a smaller framed girl and on a 650 pound bike, wet grass and wet clutch lever... like I said, shiz happens... it did... I normally just avoid grass period since they don't like each other to begin with... plus the leaves and pine needles from them doing all this construction and blowing off my roof... :squint: Deadlyl combinations they were.... *cracks back*

No no no use the engine power to move it just keep your feet down and walk it very slowly riding the clutch and keep it barely in the friction zone where it just starts putting power to the rear wheel. The clutch ... squeeze ... ease ... SMOOOOOOOTH

na na nah!, RIPPP the grass on a motocross bike LOL lots traction and fun lol

:laugh2: Rip and tear up the grass sounds like a good time, pretty sure the HoA would crap bricks with me though... :laugh2:

The grass was soaked, far too wet for me to stand on the side and trust myself balancing it... Like I said, I'm around 125 pounds with a 650 pound 1300 CC cruiser bike... the thing outweighs me by a lot... it's not as easy for me to stand by and walk a bike like that as it might be for a bigger guy. Moving it I have to ease off the clutch and walk it sitting on it if I want to move it... it's not a light bike for me by any means. To a guy that's 160, 180, 200... sure... Me... it's not as easy as it sounds. I'm not weak and frilly by any means... but it's not exactly a cake walk like that, either. The GSXR... yes, that's a bit more feasible... it's smaller and more light... but a cruiser that size for a girl my size? Definitely not that easy peasy... made even more difficult by moisture ect.

Accidents happen, I popped off the clutch by accident ( It was wet and slick )... I wiped it... that's what happened... that could have happened sitting on the bike or walking it regardless... it was in first gear. I'm definitely not the only person ( Every person 99.999% of people have dumped a bike, this was just my second time since riding ) I won't complain since I was going 5-10 MPH and I've been riding since I was 16 on street bikes and I'm 27 now... This being my second dump and so minor I won't complain. My first was similar, very minor and in a yard as well. ) That could have happened to a beginner or the most senior of rider. I have been riding street bikes 11 years almost 12 now and motocross since I was 7... I am well experienced in dirtbikes / ATV's and all of that... freak accidents happen and that's what this was... No avoiding it... shiz happens.

I learned that if we get another 1/4 inch of rain this morning (we got hit hard yesterday with big storms) we will break yet another record for most amount of rainfall in a 24 hour period. We already broke that record last week.

I've seen clips submitted by deafies elsewhere where the mighty Mississippi over-ran her banks in parts of the Twin Cities a couple of days ago....

Does this remind anyone of that 2008 flood? Sure feels like deja vu to me.

Yes. It's really bad towards the southern part of the Cities. Shakopee, bloomington, etc. ValleyFair (the theme park if you remember it) closed three of the roller coasters as they are partially submerged. Hwy 77 to the Mall of America was so flooded cars were swimming. Literally. Harriet Island in St. Paul off the Mississippi is totally under water.
