I learned that despite not having taken my meds for 4 days, I haven't committed any violent acts, and I haven't become mentally unstable, either. Heck, I feel more normal than ever before. Makes me wonder why I'm even taking over 2,000 mg, anyways. I'm surprised that nothing has happened. REALLY surprised.
 
Well, I did not learn what Scott is talking about. I must have missed something somewhere. Maybe I learn what and where today.

So in Mark speak does that really mean 4 hours? You've been off your meds for 4 hours? I'll go make popcorn. Deaftears off his meds was entertaining.

I'm forwarding an article to my reporter friend. what an incredibly confusing article. I have absolutely no idea why would a writer includes all 5 irrelevant issues in one article about potholes

.. and further down "Five days" FIVE days without your meds that your doctor prescribed. Does your doctor even know you are OFF your meds?

...just unnerves me because if you are really on powerful meds at 2,000 mgs (?!!!) then you shouldn't be stopping it cold turkey- weaning down the dose is the better method 99% of the time.

Are you just plain nuts? It won't surprise me if you do end up experiencing unstableness down the line because it takes a while for the meds to fully clear your system- more than 5 days.


I feel my BS-o-meter™ going off...

I don't know exactly why, but let me tell you this-- I am starting to feel more normal than I have in YEARS. Prior to 1993, I wasn't taking meds, but after that, I was taking them until recently, when all of a sudden I stopped, and I feel more like.myself than ever before. Heck, I just may tell the doctor to f*** off the meds. It's been 5 days, and I have not yet done anything major, and doubtful I will.

So you stopped taking the meds for your schizophrenia and Tourette's? The Tourette's that you told us is so severe that you are in danger of breaking your own neck? You stopped those drugs?

So.......keeping in mind your overexageration tendencies, about 5 hours ago. No way will I believe it been days.

Oh, it's been days. Last time I took meds was last Saturday, I believe. Haven't taken any since. And quite frankly, if my staff ever knew what happened, they'd freak out.

Are you off your rocker???? It's obvious you aren't yourself already.

This is exactly how the people off their meds get into trouble. They THINK they can do fine without it and go off only to be found later in worse shape.
