What Did You Get For X-Mas?

Ah, really Meg! Olive green is a pretty color! I used my new mixer on Christmas morning to make homemade waffles for my family. I couldn't believe how quick and easy to make. I have a mild case of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome on my left wrist and it's been hurting off and on for several months now. So, no more beating myself up with a bowl on my right hand and a big spoon on my left hand! I'm so thankful for a mixer because now I need it to whip up mash potatoes, butternut squash, sweet potatoes and the like for my one year old daughter. She loves her table food more than baby jars. :D

I won't tell if you won't tell LOL though having a mixer like that in your kitchen would make you look like a professional chef! Now that's cool

I had a pretty good Xmas -

I got a LOT of gift cards - my family is pretty middle-of-the-road and I'm the whacko one in the family. Also I got scrapbooking/cardmaking supplies...you can never have too many ink pads or rubberstamps! A calendar made by my cousins - what cute cousins I have! I got some "trinkets" for my curio cabinets and then let's see...NUTELLA!!! I am so gosh darn crazy over this chocolate hazelnut spread!!! YUMMY!!! Also a "surprise" from my Grandma O...I'm hoping for a crocheted fuzzy scarf!!! *crossing fingers*

Then from my true love, she gave me: A heart necklace (I'm wearing it now), a teddy bear for my computer and a motorcycle ornament which I'll save to decorate OUR tree next year.

On the other hand, I didnt have too good a Xmas - most of the time I was laid up with a very sore knee - and now I have to go to a bone specialist...*sigh*...wish me luck.

I am too embarassed to admit what I got for Christmas. Actually, I was a very spoiled woman this year. I won't go into listing what I got but the best part was GIVING!

I invited this 85 year old man to be my date for my familys Christmas Dinner. He was so thrilled and wore his best suit. My family was skeptical because I have never invited a total stranger into our house for holidays but I wanted to cheer this man up. He has no local family or friends so I wanted to make sure that he will have a wonderful Christmas.

I brought him over and my family fell in love with him and his twinkling blue eyes. He was treated like a king.

After I took him back home, he gave me a huge tight hug and thanked me for being a such wonderful caring woman. His words alone are the best Christmas gift I got this year :)

Wow, that's wonderful! I personally believe it's the best gift you could possibly give to that old gentleman. You're a good person. :)

This year is my first xmas not living at home. Because of that, I got less presents from my mom and her boyfriend who I lived with previously. Anyway, I got a laptop, clothes, magazine and Dr. Phil book (he is one of my idols cuz I want to be psychologist) from my boyfriend. I got clothes from my mom, her boyfriend, and his family. I got $350 altogether that were in cards that my family mailed me. um Pacific Sunwear gift certificate from my boyfriend's parents and bath and body gift certificate from my brother. I guess that's all.

:)

I very often like to give presents from the heart. It gives you a great feeling that cannot be paid for.

I recieved:
a gold bracelet with amethyst stones
gold bracelet
silver earrings with green stones
a book
two dvds
some article of clothings
DVD burner

What's more? I forgot.. It doesn't matter anyway :)
