What did you dream last night?

It's ok to talk about your dog. He was a great dog to leave you with so many good memories.

Thanks Bottesini! I am trying to go back to all the places I took Finlay for walks and it is really hard!

I also dream of my deceased doggies and wake up crying sometimes....Still miss them....Have another doggie now...and seriously thinking of getting 1 more.

I go to sleep crying as Finlay was coming up to me for a hug when he got really sick . He slept in my bed and would lay beside me for a few minutes so I could give him a hug ! I think he was trying to say good bye to me! As he never did this before. :(
I am sorry to hear about dear doggies. I need another dog!

I dreamed of weird 'kaleidoscope' colors/combinations that made me think of Lucifer the cat. Then I was in a hot tub with my brother and two other girls, didn't know who they were. Then I dreamed I was USDA getting in trouble for a 'schedule A EVENT' then I was woken up by this god awful leg cramp around my bum ankle. Hurt like a mofo. I laid back down but I don't think I ever actually went to sleep. Just spent my time flipping and flopping trying to get comfortable again. I woke up more worn down than relaxed. :(

When my dog was killed by a coyote, I got physically sick. I really miss her a lot and it has been almost 2 years.

2 weeks before she was killed, I had a dream that she had been attacked, and tried to run away to die, because she knew how much it would crush me to see her in pain. I tried to find her in the dream, but she hid too well. I woke up crying.

I know .. its weird. Then 2 weeks later, she was killed by a coyote and dragged off in the dark. I never saw her again. I looked and looked for her for days.

It felt exactly like losing my best friend.

So ... I went and got my hunting permit

There is no longer a coyote problem in that area.

I am sorry to hear about your dog. A coyote was coming into my back yard and leaving poop where I walked my dog. At first I was pissed off as I thought a lazy dog owner was not picking up after their dog! When I took a closer look at poop , I saw that it had things in it that dogs do not eat! It was a coyote and he was marking it territory! We have a lot of wild rabbits around and the coyote was telling us to stay away! I would never had killed
the coyote if it killed my dog. I would not let my pet outside on it own today
as we have more wildlife coming into our yard looking for food.
I feel that same that I lost my best friend and Finlay was also my hearing dog
so we when everywhere together! Damn I miss him like HELL!

I dreamed that I ran away from home and went to join the Amish lifestyle.

The situation was a little different on my end. The reason I exterminated the local coyote den was because my backyard (at the time) was a local elementary school soccer field. The coyotes were becoming aggressive, and one attacked my neighbor. This is usually very rare for a coyote to attack, so I suspected it was a den of what is called "coydogs" or "dogyotes". These are coyotes that have bred with large wild dogs and they are EXTREMELY dangerous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coydog

It turned out that my suspicions were correct, because the coyotes I exterminated were larger than German Shepherds. They had no fear of human beings. They could easily drag a small child off in the woods and you would never find the remains.

The coyote that killed my dog did it very fast. Coyotes are very smart and they will study your habits and schedule. You will never see them as they are predatory nocturnal creatures. I was walking my dog, on a leash, it came out of nowhere - attacked me, my dog tried to protect me but by the time I got back on my feet - they were both gone.

But, I understand exactly how you feel about losing your friend. It took me a long time to get over my dog.

There was a singer from Toronto that was killed by Coyotes. Her name was Taylor Mitchell.

A fox killed one of our cats years ago. They supposedly take them back to the den in spring to feed kits. Very sad.

Here we have Western Coyotes which are wolves crossed with coyotes. They really look just like wolves to me.

Wirelessly posted

I had a nightmare that I called the externship place where this psycho path lady worked. I asked, to speak with her, she came on the line and left me hold. I woke up fast thought it was for real.

speaking of foxes, I saw a dead red fox on side of the road. Probably hit by a car, likely. It's rare to see red foxes in Iowa, I think.

I had a dream that I was locked up in a basement with few people and even my own cat. And then people came in saying, "You guys are going straight to hell." And then proceeded to wring our neck.

I still have a pinched neck from sleeping the wrong way 3 nights ago, guess my dream was enjoying the pain and making it worse for me.

Really? I thought they were all red foxes in Iowa.

I dreamed I was relaxing on one of those long outdoor lounge chairs on our back deck. I don't have one, but it seemed like a good idea.

I dreamed I was swimming in the Olympics and came in first in all the races.

I've heard of coyotes stalking small children and such but I did not think they would go after larger prey until I heard about the Taylor Mitchell incident on NatGeo.

Fragments of my dream came to me when I was working!

Anyway, here goes:

For some reason, I had to catch a plane to someplace to pick up plane tickets. And I had to get back on the same day.

Deplaned and went straight to ticket booth but the staff sent me back to the area where I exited to get a reciept or something. Once I got that, I went back to the ticket booth to see a line. By then I was frantic as I waited in the line. I saw a staff (looks like a Consuela from one of the TV sitcoms) and I signed to her. She made a mockery of me.

I went up to her and sim-commed to her and said 'Do not make fun of me'. She then apologised.

I cannot recall the ending but I get the impression that I got on a plane but wasn't a happy camper.

Oh, how I'd like to have a mundane dream!

I had a doozy of a dream. I was being led to this big open field in the midwest somewhere by two men in black suits. We walked to a paved square in the middle of the field. When we arrived, the pavement seperated and an elevator sort of thing rose up. The three of us got inside.

The elevator lowered us many many stories deep underground, the ride felt like it took forever. When we stopped, I was led to this huge steel vault door deep underground. The vault door unlocked and we entered inside a maze of tunnels. I remember there being more people inside. We would walk through this maze, encounter another vault door, which we waited to open and go through.

We finally made it to this huge wide and open room that was enclosed by a series of vault and safe like doors. Inside this room, I saw two very large silver angels facing each other - their wings touching - and they were both in a prayer position with heads bowed. The angels had some sort of cryptic type writing all over them that had been engraved. Between the two angels was a sarcophagus with very elaborate writing all over it.

It was then explained to me by one of the men that the sarcophagus held the remains of "Father Abraham" and this was a plot to bring about peace in the middle east. The way it was explained was that everyone in the middle east was fighting over who had rights to "Father Abraham's" remains, as well as his "promised land". They explained that a fake copy had been put in the actual tomb and the real remains stolen by the CIA.

It would later be revealed to those who were fighting, that they were fighting over nothing.

weird dream.

dude, I am sooo cancelling netflix. My dreams are more entertaining.

I had a dream of walking in endless wheat fields that were taller than me. I never got anywhere since the fields were just never-ending.
