No - it wasn't Fingers Lakes. This is a little pond/lake at the end of the road where 3M and Kraft Foods/Oscar Mayer is. I think it's Waco Rd. off Route B.

When my mother and hubby worked at Kraft, you could see the people parking at the end of the road in the trees and walking into the trees with towels. I asked and was told what it was.

I am surprised there was a production plant that close to a park. Usually they try to keep these far apart if possible as to not disturb wildlife. Maybe the zoning laws are different in Columbia, MO?

See, it's not a park. I think it was private property. There was an old abandoned house and property that had it's own "water hole" kind of thing. It was not a lagoon, like MO is known for having in place of septic systems. It was a pond or lake with fish. The fence line was falling down, and people just started going there.

I worked, then drove home in the beginnings of yet another snowstorm. We have so much here that my eyes here are blinded out from 2 shades of white: fresh snow powder white, and dirty-snowplow-dogpee-white. Erk.
 
I am about to go back to work. Weee! It was in the teens when I went to work this morning! :cold:
 
Today I made bread pudding and it is damn good!! My first one!!! So pleased how it turned out

In Columbia, MO, there was (not sure about now) a nude beach area at a lake behind the Kraft Foods plant. Got to go deep into the woods there. Also, here in the Palm Beach County area, there used to be (don't know about now) a nude beach at the ocean. There were signs posted so people did get upset at the nudity as they were forewarned.

but i can't but i wish oh well, im broke, but happy anyway.

there are some nude beaches in new zealand, but unsure where. there used to be one near my brother's house.

If i won some money or something, im sure i will try it once, for experience the natural, to see what the fuss and the relaxing is all about, put other way id approach it with a very mature and open minded attitude..

It is soooo yummy!!! For me its a waste because I have to throw it out I am not responsible when it comes to sweets and I would rather throw food out than eat it all and pay for it on the treadmill :D

that's why I wear sunglasses but I lost my prescription sunglasses. and I haven't bought another one cuz it's $$$ :mad2:
