$394 for 2 of us + $225 for a roomette on the longest leg of it (I think we can get buy sleeping in coach the first night). Cheaper than airfare...though it obviously takes longer. I've always wanted to do this and now that my oldest daughter and her husband moved to Utah, I have a reason (plus I now have a job w/paid vacation).

Not bad. I am thinking when we retire, it would be fun to go about the country by train.

Of course, my husband wants an RV . :aw:
 
Got up, gave the cat her insulin, went to work, came home, fed the cat and now trying to coax her to drink water. She's not handling her new diabetes well. :(
 
Worked and then worked some more and still going to work some more!
 
I successfully defended my thesis. The fine arts can consider themselves mastered.

work work work and work...went jogging in my neighborhood and saw a flashy female impersonator performing in the middle of the street a block away along with a female with her top off. I was not happy about that and so were many people who live in this community. They got arrested.

Then came home to nice birthday surprises. One more day of work until vacation!

I was so pissed today cuz the training coordinator of my 2nd job emailed me today saying that I have to go to a mandatory traning from 10 to 5 both next Monday and Tuesday. I told her that I had plans since it was my spring break. I need the rest. If they fire me...oh well.
