What did you do today? Part II

I took Marty for a second walk at the park today and saw a poor dog get hit by a car!! I did not see the car hit the dog but I heard a horrible sound then the dog cried out . It was horrible , the dog was able to get up and run back to it owner. The person that hit the dog did not stop! The bastard! This really was so upsetting to see . I wanted to ask the owner how the dog was but he when right into his house .

Went to church this morning, also went to lunch afterwards. I forget that means a long day for me, even though its only 2pm and I am already back home. Fatigue has already set in. But it was a good day. Need to rest now.

Did'ja watch Pats? Brady choked in 2nd half...gave the win away. Two interceptions in 2nd half, one in 4th qt, red-zone interception. :lol: Cant win like that. Brady was taunted after the game. :laugh2: Russell Wilson's game winnin td pass was right on money. Beautiful pass from the rookie. :P .....outscored 14-3 in 4th qrt....tsk,tsk,tsk!
 
Picked up my new glasses....still having problems reading signs...give it a few days to see if it gets any better....:hmm:...back to the specialist in Feb. ,,,,,, then downtown for a dental consult...left there so broke!....While I was waiting, the Mayor of Jacksonville..."Downtown Alvin Browne" walked in...fancy suit!....He had a meeting of sorts with the dentist, so my appt. time was delayed for 45 minutes....grrrrrr...and fighting that "rush hour" downtown traffic was horrid!...bumper to bumper, along with the almost blinding Sun....

So glad to be home safely and one of my sons is fixing dinner, which is a nice gesture!
 
it is not easy, I have lots of pretty rough I have pretty spending , I have spending to my relax, work out!
 
I have done housework, spoke with contractor and took him stuff we got for him. (Don't ask, I am still angry.) Paid phone bill, played computer games, did some knitting and read Breaking Dawn for the 4th time.

Went to a Ladies High Tea Charity Fund-raiser with some Deaf friends and then set up my mobile/cell phone to receive voice-to-text messages as well as SMS text.
 
it 1pm,i not feeling so wonderful had flu jab yesterday it made my throat sore and earache i in bed fiddling with computer and tv star trek on
 
Last night I took my front brake pads off to inspect them, they are new but caused alot of chattering/vibrationthroughout the vehicle when stopping, turned out the guy who replaced them didnt put Anti-Squeel on the back of the pads. So, I completed the task and took it for a test drive and its smooth sailing now.
 
Today, Im doing a surprise outing with my dog... and Ill post pictures later for everyone to see.....
 
Did a load of housework, cleaned the car ( how grotty can a car get in a month????) and had a pint at the pub with the loose change I found under the driver seat EPIC WIN :)
 
I took advantage of sunshine with a cool breeze and read outside for about an hour. Walked the yard and looked in the windows of the new house. Went to Big Lots and bought my daughter a new bed for the house, and took it to the storage place until we can move in. Went to Lowes to look for something and they claim to have never heard of it. I know the one in Missouri had it. Ah well.

Maybe it is something they used to have and not longer do with when they had it being quite a while back. And then the person you talked to came in after they ceased to carry the item; thus that employee had not heard of it.
 
Watching my San Francisco Giants...their off to a terrific start!!!! Happy around the Bay!!!!

YES my Giants won tonight!!! One more win and their in the World Series!! So excited!!!

Spent most of the day staggering around....:giggle:...No, I'm not drunk...my balance is at it's worst....My 18 yr. old son came home from St. Augustine, a weekend outing for a friend's birthday...Feels bad I couldn't go outside to enjoy the cool weather, but my son took our doggie for a long walk after an hour of "pouting" about it...calling the doc tomorrow, hopefully before I get arrested for being "public drunk"...:laugh2:

Adding a sinus infection to my ruined auditory nerve has left me very , very, wobbly.

I feel almost okay while using my scooter, except I am taken aback by how many elderly ladies rush to open doors for me! :P

Yeah, it sure was...and Jones Drew is injured....they should have let me play Receiver!....With my staggering all over the field...I would have probably won that game...
