Psst, I am an female.

I am thinking about to watch a movie on TV tonight.

do you know which movie you're going to watch?

Now, I have finished two movies - what did I miss? :cool2:

Ouch, no wonder you are the luckest guy on AD. :giggle:

Now I understand. Wow!

OH, WOW! I'm glad you are okay!

Did you report it to the police?

Gasp, that must have been terrifying. Are you okay??

:eek3: sounds like DUI... those bastard!

I am very glad you survived !!!

GRAMMAR ALERT!

Those bastards

Blindness would prevent him from getting the plate number anyway.

good catch.... although that's assuming there is more than 1 person in that car

most people can't read plates anyway. as long as he's able to get physical description of car... that should be good enough. the cop will send out APB on it.

Yes, but if it was one you should have said 'That bastard!'

Most people are too shocked and stunned to think that quickly after something like this. Gives the car plenty of time to get away.

that's also assuming if it's a lone driver :hmm:

Sounds like a "hit and run"

no hit-and-run case in here since Souggy's fine. he didn't get hit.

I am back. So this is what happened:

I got bored waiting for the doors to open, so I went to the grocery store to look for ideas. Then I wanted to kill time by surfing at Starbucks, so I went across the street. I was just about to step ONTO the sidewalk, when I felt something hitting my right side, just above the lip. I bent over sideway ontop the hood with my right leg going underneath the car. I thought my left leg was going to break. The guy came to a full stop, just about to get out... then when I got up, and backed away, he just closed the door and drove off.

I got so mad, I kicked the rear of the car. Should had took a picture, but I was too pissed off to deal with that. So I went into Starbucks, went to the bathroom to check for visible injuries, then that wen I started shaking. I didn't realize how close I was to death. I didn't realize how lucky I was.

Anyway, one of the baristas from Starbucks saw it and gave me a free coffee on the house. Bizarre.

I am not going to report it though... there's more good things than bad things that came out of it. I just know it was a white car, I don't know what model or brand it was-- and I was too pissed off to look at the licence plate.

Anyway, I was so angry at the driver and the cracked netbook from two nights before, that I just shrugged off the initial pain because I thought I had worse while moshing. That proved to be wrong while I was talking to Jiro later that night... In hindsight, I should had called a taxi and should had went to an emergency clinc, but I just wanted one good night to make up for all the crappy moments so I wasn't thinking straight.

So... I met this cute blond girl that was learning sign language at the local college because her hearing is going due to ear infections and such and she wanted to be prepared in the event where she can no longer make out what people are saying-- nice girl and she showed a lot of interest in Deaf culture... especially in Deaf-Deaf and Deaf-hearing relationships for some reason. Yeah... I know... wink, wink, there might be some chemistry going on.

So... I didn't mosh last night. Tried to stay away from that crowd as much as possible. Why? I didn't want to add anymore injuries ontop of the possible ones that I might find out in a few hours-- don't worry, sent off an e-mail to my doctor for an emergency check-up.

So... I take the free coffee and an awesome night with the girl and her two friends and count my blessings. I really don't want to go through the hassle of making someone else's life a living hell. It's not everyday that you meet a girl that is interested in becoming a part of the Deaf culture anyway. ;)

You definitely took a bad situation and turned it into something positive!

Best of luck with the girl!

I am just happy you are ok and nothing worse was injured.

I am thinking how much I am looking forward to watching some football today and continue to relax. I need longer weekends that's for sure! Not 4 days..too much but 3 days would be perfect. I have been off for 3 days and I feel good. Will be off for another 2 days. By then, I would be itching to return to work. Then 3 weeks of work until I am off for TWO weeks!!!!

fedora got my vote. My boy had fedora for halloween. I thought fedora looks good with jean pants. ;) I like both hats. why don't you buy both? ;)

by the way, i just saw your other post. glad you are OK. damn the stupid white car.

I have not seen Heroes in ages!! I watched the first series, then the 3rd and stopped after that

Now Heroes has becomes crappy again. It's high time that they axed this show once and for all. Almost make me want to cry for those writers who change the story....DAMN THEM TO HELL! :pissed:
