Albacore tuna is ok.
 
Now you guys are talking about Tuna. I am thinking about the last time I went sea fishing and I never ate that fish I caught.

I have no idea what the fish was, but I have a photo somewhere. I think it was a tuna but I don't remember. Any of you wanna help me identify it?

Your fish has the wrong tail for tuna I think.

good observation. I notice that the tunas have a split on the tail. The mystery fish doesn't and it looks brown/red.

The sea bass looks too shiny, this one seems really dull with bronze tints.

Maybe it's easier to narrow it down if you tell us where you got the fish from?
 
Oh yeah, that should help. I remember this was in port hueneme, CA.
I forget what waters we were exactly in, but I recall it's out in the Ocean sea somewhere, next to the Anacapa Island.

I think Capt'n Botti wins, I did a search for sea trout which then led to a subspecies called gator trout and this picture really looks anatomically correct.

Thanks! If you try them, let me know what you think. I like these much better than the soy burgers, and they are chock full of protein. The carrot also adds beta carotine.
 
I'm thinking about how lazy I have actually been today! Just briefly went to the store this morning and upon my return back home, I stayed online the entire day and finished off and started a new book... :D

And the weather was soooo beautiful outside! :(

mmmhhh it sound good. I save your recipe in my file for try next time...

I do homemade bavarian potatoes salad and fish fillet serve with green salad but my boys do not like fish fillet so I cooked fish fingers for them...
 
We prepared the 2 nests for eggs, gifts, etc for both boys... We are still thinking about where should we hide 2 nests for tomorrow... :hmm:
