Yeah ,I wish I had a video recorder , I had one and gave to my daughter and it got broken . It would be a good idea to take a photo of the property before and project is being done by a company. This way if the guys do break something they can't get away with saying it was that way when we got here. I called the manger of the condo and thy spoke to the guys and thy moved their cooler and tried to fix the light , it is still bend a little. The painting crew boss was mad at me . WTF ! One of his men **** up a light and refuse to fix it and the guy get mad at me for reporting it. My condo fees are paying for the jerk to work here. If that had happen at his home he would had been bullshit.

Today's smartphones and even a good many of the other cell phones come with a camera and apps for both photos and video. The quality varies from model to model but would not have to be the best just to document this.
 
Thinking whether I should go to this huge deaf event tmw in DC.

I would be misplacing a smartphone all the time unless I wore it around my neck. I have been thinking of getting one but I am not sure I would be able to hear on it.

You don't have to hear on it! The apps that I am most familiar with do have you speaking for your end of the conversation but you get captions for what is said to you.

Also, they are used for texting and the things on the internet that you use your computer for.

thinking about a lot of heavy stuff.. even to the point where.iam having troubling dreams lately.
 
Thinking about all the flooding around town...keeping me from going shopping mat my favorite store...supposed to rain all weekend...and thinking of a good walk in the rain this evening!

Heard about it but didn't see it last night. Did notice it shining though the blinds in the wee hours of the morning though.

Next weekend, I should have an answer to where I will be working in the Fall. Just hard not knowing. Many hard decisions I need to make.
 
Absolutely exhausted from lipreading for hours at a wedding and reception.

Great folks, but it feels so good to take off the aids and not listen to Charlie Brown's teacher anymore.

Kinda wish someone other than my 2 year old knew some ASL at times like this. :roll:
 
Thinking how strange it looked to be driving through a very large subdivision full of large houses and seeing about 100 sheep on one of the corner lots. The city is bringing them in to eat all the dry grass. Hubby says they have been doing it for awhile but I have never seen it before. Seems like a tractor would be a lot quicker and you wouldn't have to deal with the sheep's mess. I wonder how those home owners feel. There is a large shopping center, right behind that are the homes and then the sheep. Crazy!!!

That is nothing new , I heard about this back in the 70's goats where being used to 'mow' the steep hills' in California to help keep down fires . The poop may made good lawn fertilizer and is cheaper than using gas and better for the environment . I think it's great idea , this was gone before we had lawn motors. My city could not afford to replaces the broken down lawn motors and the mayor got feed up with waiting so he brought some cow in to eat the grass. This way before I moved here but I bet it was funny seeing cows in front of the city hall.
