Some people are a** hats. However, some people are raised with this stuff and it's something they can't help. Stupidity can be taught! ( Racism = stupidity ) Because of my accent, and when people hear me speak Romanian, most people assume I am of a Hispanic origin. I hear the "go back over the border" comments... They're not pleasant... and they really p*ss me off to no end. However, you just sometimes have to realize that persons ignorance is their greatest undoing and sometimes they can't help it. I actually feel sorry for them sometimes. The ability to hate someone before you get to know them is sad, and pathetic for something that person can't control.. something like their ethnicity. Just keep your head up, maybe look into getting another teacher or speak to your councilor or Dean. :)
 
I wrote an essay that was suppose to be a satire and i guess he thought it was a serious essay. He gave me a good grade but cuz he said he agreed with all i said. And if read seriously then its like a super racist paper. Again meant as satire...
 
Thinking how annoying when someone refuses to take no for an answer... what is it with people these days? SMH
 
Thinking how excited that we are meeting with the 3rd of 3 builders tonight. Hopefully after tonight we'll decide and start building a new house! We found land and it's 5 acres. Oh joy!!

We did it! We bought the 5 acres today. The house will be a custom build so 7 months before we close on the house. November, hurry up!
 
Thinking how to stop the betta from fighting its own reflection. And yay to the new platys fry!!

A girl was just killed a couple of days ago b/c she said "NO" to a boy who asked her to the prom . :( It seem that kids are being rewarded for bad behavior today by their parents if the kids do not know how to control their emotions .


Have people notice when a thread about 'good ' or 'happy' news get posted there are not a lot of comments but if there a thread about horrible news there a lot of comments .
 
Thinking about shaving my beard. I don't exactly look like a young guy with a beard on my face. Hmm. I just might do that. Plus, it itches.
 
I'm wondering how many times someone can ask to have their threads locked up? It's kind of a overkill to keep asking threads to be locked.

Sad that Oticon Chili is not offered in colors other than the plain ole "discrete" skin/hair color.

For once I want to go bold and be different damnit- have had hearing aids 99% of my life I'd like to change it up a bit! sheesh... :(

Can't you get Safari or Sensei? They are the same as Chili, but they come in an array of colors.
 
Don't know because:

1/ VR is paying
2/ my hearing loss is profound with an avg of 105-110 dB in both ears (I seem to be losing 5 dB or so every 5 ish years though...:/)

Have to wait until May 8th to talk to him.

Worse comes to worse may get those protection seals things and use them- just have to figure out how to allow for access to my FM boots.

Safari looks like it would barely fit my range- unfortunately I am a power junkie. My current aids I have the volume maxed to 4 and I STILL feel like I need more...:(

Maybe Phonak Naidas? They may be better for your loss, too.

Thinking I may get out the fleece fabric, rotary cutter, board and ruler and make some fleece roes for the dog. Trainer has asked for a few as well.

Possible. I think he did mention Phonak the last time I was there- I won't see him again for another 10 days or so but will see what happens.
