I'm not gonna worry about that now. I'll do that when I'm not here in River North at 12:30 in the morning.
 
That's why I prefer to stay home... there is fireworks on TV and things. Less stress and worry about dui on the roads.

Well, with all that I've been through the last few months, staying home isn't really an option-- need less stressful days and more fun days. As soon as I get there, that's where I am headed to.

he's not talking about you. he's talking about himself. I prefer to stay home as well. if you prefer to go out.... that's great.

Yes, I know. Not everyone prefers to go out, and that's understandable. I did say I was gonna try new things this year, so I shall see what or how I learn tonight. Maybe I'll pick up a couple of things. Who knows?

you're at River North.... so you should enjoy more whatever you're doing there and stop gluing your face to your cellphone to post in AD otherwise.... how else are you going to pick up a couple of things? you'll miss it.

Problem is.... no idea what I'm supposed to do.
 
They're closing the Pier. Ah, well. I'll figure out something. There is still plenty of time to enjoy New Year's Day, after all.
 
How beautiful Michigan Ave is at 1:45 in the morning. Never realized that until just now. It really is a sight to behold.
 
The last time I saw multiple ambulances at a scene-- years ago. Four of them nearby, three different companies. Not pretty.

Not sure. One of them was a Superior Critical Care ambulance, so it can't have been good if one of those were there. The Fire Department was there, too, with a truck and one of their own ambulances
