What are you thinking about Part VII

A train might be OK because I could get up and walk around. It's sitting for long times that are hard for me. Of course, if I have to get somewhere by a deadline, or if the train route doesn't go where I need to be, that can still be a problem.

Yeah I was thinking about sitting for a long would be hard for you. I had clients that had Parkinson disease . One was a lady that weight only about 90 lbs. and she went to get out of her bed and fell right into her wastebasket and could not get out. The poor dear , she had to wait for her health aide to come. Her butt got stuck in the wastebasket b/c she was so small. She was very lucky and broke no bones . It sound funny but it was not b/c she was not to get anything to eat or drink for awhile.

I have the same problem when traveling. We found if we book the very back row on the plane, there is usually an empty seat. It's also easier to get up and walk to the bathroom etc. It's really loud though but I just take off my CI.

Long trips take a lot out of me. Usually it takes a few days just to recouperate. I'm definitely not looking forward to our flight to Chicago.

Same here, when the Amtrak gets caught up with freight trains. Makes me late arriving, and an annoyance all around when I get in later than I'm supposed to. That's not something my parents particularly care for (And neither do I), but oh well.

Had a beautiful day traveling up north for our anniversary weekend. Fall colors are at near peak and beautiful.

Does your hubby have enough time off for the Chicago trip to go my train instead? Chicago is such a big train hub I would think you could find connections.

That's why I suggested the train. You're not stuck in a seat for hours. I leave on my train adventure next weekend. :)
Unfortunately there are not as many trains as we wish there were.

thinking about day I get caste off my arm having good scratch and washing my hands properly

Thinking about the upcoming MLB playoffs, now that the Cardinals have clinched the NL Central. This should be a fun month of October.

My husband just told me some sad news about the couple who were sitting next to us at the wedding. He was feeling dizzy at the wedding and I guess everyone just thought it was from the heat. They went to Kaiser on their way home and Kaiser said he had an ear infection, gave him meds sent him home. He was actually having a stroke and is now brain dead. I'm in total shock and feel so sad for their family.

How sad ! I know a woman that went to an ENT doctor for an earache and she was is was nothing to worry about. She woke that night with blood pouring out her ear and a red line going down her neck. Her b/f rush her ER . She had blood poison and could had die . That is disgusting the doctor could tell the guy was having a stroke.

Thinking about my fantasy football team getting lucky. If only I were...

Angel1989.... regarding that trip.... there was a fire at the FAA Facility south of here, and the FAA is saying that repairs won't get done until 10/13. They are currently waiting for replacement parts, some of which should be arriving late tonight. I'm hoping your trip isn't scheduled around that time?

I'm excited too since the Giant's made the wild card. One game elimination so I hope they play great.

If they can beat Pittsburgh, and get past Washington, and the Cards get past Los Angeles, that would set up a rematch of the 2012 NLCS.

I don't think the Giant's will make it too far this year. They are playing pretty good right now, but they are so up and down. The rookies have been playing great so hopefully next year the team will do better.

I'm not giving up on them yet!!

Never know. The 2006 Cardinals won 83 games, and still won the Series that year, and no one gave them a chance to do so. Then there was that classic Game 6 in 2011 against Texas, so anything is possible. You are wise to not give up yet, and hopefully it'll be just as amazing.

It was a good day in the Bay, 49ers and the Giant's won. Giant's play Wednesday in the wild card. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Same here. May the best NL team win!! The Cards have their hands full against the Dodgers, and S.F might be able to get past Pittsburgh, cause they squandered multiple chances to win the Central, and well, they haven't been playing well as of late.
