Yeah , the woman did not know he was die but it still made me feel sad having to tell people Finlay is done. He was a very well known dog in my small city he went everywhere with me . After he dies I felt like I was missing apart of myself when I went out. There was no big beautiful standard poodle on my left side. I bet anyone that has service dog know what I mean.

That reminds me of how,in college and doing research papers, I had to do everything the good old fashioned way. :lol: Internet wasn't around for the general public yet.

Great run this morning. Did some hard sprints trying improve my aerobic capacity. Maybe too much recovery, but wonder if I pushed too hard.
 
I am curious.... how many of you have ever gone to Octoberfest/AppleFest when you were growing up? I used to go to Octoberfest in Flora for many years until I came here in 2000. Haven't been to once since, but the local AppleFest over on Lincoln and Western I've passed by many times over the years.
 
Going to take the new car on a nice long drive tomorrow to South Lake Tahoe. Weather there is going to be clear and 81º. Perfect weather for a picnic and a walk on the beach. Just have to remember lot's of sunscreen since I see the Dermatologist on Tuesday.

I just looked South Lake Tahoe and it's beautiful . Have fun on your drive, how long a drive will it be for you?

It takes us just under two hours to get to South Lake Tahoe. We like to take our time, stop at the vista points etc. After we are done at the beach, we stop at Emerald Bay which is amazing. Then we drive all around the lake and stop for dinner on the way home.

I hitchhike to a Hippie range in California , I think it was called Wheeler Range , I can't remeber what part of California it was but I the came to beautiful lake that where near a town that had houses all difference colors .
I think it was Point Reyes , do you what it like out there ?
 
I'm remembering this game show from way back in the 1990's called Name that Tune. That show was one of my favorites to watch. Another was Press Your Luck. A third was Pyramid.
 
WOW. Legends of the Hidden Temple was my all-time favorite kid game show growing up.

You sure? I don't recall Name That Tune being from the 1990s. I remember watching it in the 1970s & 80s.

Wiki says it ended in 1985.

Thinking how bad I really wanted to sleep in this morning. Have my alarm set for 9am but wide awake at 6:30am. Errrrrrr!!!
 
I woke up at my usual early hour. Fell asleep petting the cat. Lol
 
Why did they upsize the container for mini M&Ms. I wanted to get a couple of small ones because I plan to use the container for something after I finish off the candy. I can use the longer one, but would prefer the shorter ones. Guess I'll have to keep looking for the shorter ones (and if found, enjoy some more mini M&Ms :D )
