Thinking that I cant believe it is Spring forward this weekend. With how it looks and feels outside, it is like WTF?

I know, LOL. Its like winter is still hanging on. ahh, I just wanna go away with it.

Spring doesn't officially start until March 20 anyway. Maybe there's time for all this to melt and warm up by then.

I know but in March, we don't usually have 5 degree weather. Usually it is 35 to 45 degrees!

And since I hit my head on concrete, that's a little different, cause I have also hit my head on metal, and that splitting headache is no fun. Wood is kinder than concrete or metal, thank you.

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: you sure have a lot of experience with hitting a wide variety of hard objects. Have you thought about being a punching dummy for a job?

He takes the term "accident prone" to the extreme!

I fall multiple times a day and "kiss the floor", but I don't go on and on about it.

We were told that due to our having such a warm Winter, our Summer will also be much warmer than normal. Does that mean that for those of you who had such horribly cold Winters will have a cooler than normal Summer? Such pondering I am thinking about. hmm

Summers after cold winters often are even hotter here.

That having shingles sucks, but I am thrilled the main water pipe is finally thawed.

Yesterday we had no running water. Yuck.

Seen commercials on TV about Shingles...but have never known of anyone having it....is it very painful, Botti?....Where abouts are you affected?

I have had it more than once, and it seems to be a genetic predisposition. My grandmother had it almost every year.

And it is on the left side of my face and left arm.

As for pain, I am pretty tough. I will say I pretty much can't turn my head because of the nerve pain, but that's kind of remedied by not turning my head! :P

But I do have medicine to help lessen the effects.

thinking about taking up a new hobby, collecting wall hanging masks...

Botti...Oh no, Shingles are very painful. Hope you are getting enough pain relief.

Good news you have water again.

Yikes!! Purple called. They wanna come and install my new Purple VP, and that totally caught me off guard. I done told them that I needed my wiring replaced first before I could have it installed, so hopefully they will hold off on that until after I have had new wiring installed here.

I have never come across a deaf person who hates to learn ASL...until today..

Force, you say? I knocked myself out, and when I woke up, I couldn't see where I was going AT ALL. It was like I was blinded, and sheer pure sense of direction got me home safely, but how I did that with no further injury I'll never know.

You were just talking about a past injury and how you'd have to keep an eye on bumping your head today with the PAST injury. My point was that PAST injury will not have ANYTHING to do with a bump to the head you got today!

That's interesting, cause I didn't feel anything weird after hitting my head on the edge of my bed. What's weirder is that prior to that happening, I'd been dealing with a headache, and after I hit my head, it went away. Odd, I know, and I have no clue how that happened.
