Then maybe you should start thinking by going to the ASL class to learn how to sign. You can not be an oral person for the rest of your life. You need to sign, too. You need to be with the d/Deaf people. That will be your option. :hmm:

Or they could just accommodate the hard of hearing and add some subtitles. I already took an ASL class back in Virginia and passed it with an A, but you can't tell a video to slow down. I have a feeling I wouldn't exactly be welcome in a group of deaf people in person anyway.

thinking what a pain in the ass when an employment website states that there was a problem processing my application and to call a number but the hours are M to F from 7 am to 7Pm. I want to complete my application for that job today, not wait until during the week when I am more tired from working hard all day. Ugh

The people that work there deserve their weekends off as much as you do.

It is a pain in the ass that there is a website (tech) error. I said nothing about people being off.

I am sorry you took it that way. For me the requirement to call on a weekday means that they are off for the weekend.

I believe Shel's complaint is about the website error, not that people are not working on the weekend. And that, after applying online, she now has to make a phone and that's can be a royal pain in the ....
 
Wanting to give someone a piece of my mind. Can't say why, though. It's on an ongoing issue.
