That's one I own it and I hate it so much because I had a hard time to take iphone out from my pocket due soft rubber. :ugh:

Otter Box Rocks! It has saved me $1,000's I would guess. It is hard to get out of you pocket sometimes though.

Also thinking someone left the door open at the looney bin....

Class pets typically don't last for very long. Especially over school breaks such as Christmas and Spring break.

Maybe allow the top student to adopt the pet before Thanksgiving break? Then get a new pet in January until Spring Break for another student to adopt?

My dad had a guinea pig in his classroom, but he never told anyone where the food was including me, so sadly it starved to death because he was gone to a conference for a week.
 
In my son's class for 4th grade, they had a pet hamster. The student with top scores and parental permission got to take it home for whichever holiday and then bring it back. The teacher took it home for summer break. I recently asked and this same hamster is still alive and he is 7 years old now.

I killed a guenia pig that I took home for summer break by accident when I was a kid. OOOPs!

Wait and see how my class reacts to it tmw.

LOL, a zoo!

The 2nd grade teacher has many different bugs and animals in her classroom. lol.

My daughter's guenia pig died the most painful and horrible death I can imagine. Fried literally. Still get sick thinking about it.
 
Gerbils are nice. They live longer than other small rodents, too. Mr. Gerbil died a while back and I cried. He's on the great rodent wheel in the sky.
 
Um, how can someone be jealous of a rodent? :shock:

I used to have hamsters, gerbils, guiena pigs, and rabbits as pets growing up. The gerbils were always my favorite. That's why I got it and it was cheaper than the other animals...lol
