I think I wonder why America English spell different world English? Kristina post make me think...pedophile = loves feet...paedophile = molester.

Thinking that fall is finally here! I wore my hoodie at work today. It was chilly this morning, but the afternoon was fine as long as the wind wasn't blowing.
 
Babies tie you to a person A LOT MORE than marriage does.

And girl, you are just spreading your wings. Babies should come well after you've gotten a chance to get some life experience under your belt.
 
^^^I did not mean to come off as being condescending, Sunny. I know you're an adult (and I meant girl as in girlfriend). But you're going through a tough time right now - and maybe you're lonely. Babies are a poor fix for that. In fact, they are incredibly needy creatures. You're only 20. You have many baby making years ahead of you yet. Don't miss out on some important years of adulthood by jumping onto the motherhood wagon so quickly.

I mean this from the heart as a friend. I value your friendship here, but I've seen too many kids screwed up because their parents weren't quite ready/mature for the job. I'd hate to see that happen to you, truly.
 
Sunny, I understand. I am recently divorced. My ex kept saying she wanted a child but really did not. It was frustrating because I really wanted children. :(
 
Dallas want baby too, we just both know not ready yet. Only 20! Now need start look new partner. Sigh. Snuggle baby yesterday, powdery smell make really want baby.
 
I really loved babies....wanted 5 of them!...after the birth of my first child (age 19)....then I realized very quickly the responsibility of it all....gone were my care-free days of sleeping late, going out with my friends whenever I wanted to, etc., etc. If I could take it all back, I would have waited until I was 30-something....

I concur with you, Mintee. :)

I watched several shows about Dubai on National Geographical channel and they talked about their mega structures. They are freakin' awesome.

One of their very expensive hotels offer $25,000 per night stay in one of their suites. :eek3:

my Deaf cat have six mouse toys and two of them seem to be misplaced somewhere. He loves to play them when I am not at home. :aw:

Do you want some toys? I have a whole wicker basket full of them. With 5 cats, I had to have lots of toys. Problem is, they'd rather play with a paper bag or foil or some dangly thing!! I can mail you some :)
 
We found Tinker's little Christmas stocking toy. She has now almost given up the catnip mouse.

Her favorite other than the stocking, is a wadded up piece of yellow paper from a Jr. Legal pad. Wad it up into a ball and she will chase that thing for a good hour before getting tired. She loves it when we toss it and she has to jump for it. She gets a good workout each day that way.

I also have a basket full of unused toys for my 2 cats. There must be at least 30 jingle balls and they hate them.
