What are you thinking about? Part V

I just had a guy in one of my classes tell me he's trying to get a job working with me. What makes it creepy is that he's made inappropriate comments to me, and shown up to where I work. Bizarre. I'm going to have to make sure he's not in my department if he gets hired.

Report it before they hire him.

 stalker alert!

I think so figure out pretty consider difficult!

I'm thinking about how to swim out of a rip current. I went on the Yahoo Answers

Basically, if you get caught in one, you should NEVER try to swim against it to get back to the shore. It's impossible. And, you'll drown from getting exhausted with making no progress. Always swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the rip current, then swim back to the beach.

An interesting fact is that although a lot of people are scared of rip currents and sharks... pro surfers use rip currents all the time to get out in the deep water for the big waves.

Lifeguards are probably tired of babysitting swimmers who don't know how to swim parallel to the ocean

I got caught in a rip current several times. I survived, because I didn't fight against it. I swam across it, and the big waves pushed me right back into the beach with sea weed on my head.

All of a sudden, I have been thinking about my Dad. Like, would he have liked my hubby? Would he have been proud of my kids? Would he be happy with how I have dedicated my married life to taking care of my mother? How would he have handled all the new technology since he died? He died on Memorial Day evening back in 1991.

I'm thinking about how I had my laptop on my lap for too long, and now there are red marks on my legs :/

And, in other news, I'm thinking about how no matter how many times I try to clean my glasses, they just keep getting smudged - even if I don't touch them! Ugh... It's a pet peeve of mine.

wear contacts

:dizzy: when did your parents arrive in this solar system?

:P

 I dunno. (It surprises me that they allowed me to get my ears pierced when I was 10, but I can't wear contacts.)

Actually, I know a lot of parents who won't let their kids wear contacts - for various reasons. :dunno2:

I won't allow my son to get them only because we are not sure about his allergies. He has so many like I do and I have yet to find any solution for contacts that my eyes can handle.

I have the same problem, about allergies. (I'm allergic to like EVERYTHING. Literally. They tested me for more than 60 things, and I was severely allergic to everything except one kind of mold found in California.) Plus, my allergies are at their worst in my eyes (and in my lungs - asthma). I get the works - red, itchy, watery, puffy and swollen eyes. That, in and of itself, is probably a good reason to stay away from the contacts.

I think it's time for me to head to bed. My brain is numb now.

I am thinking about CI surgery this Wednesday. I read some where you should have zip up tops so you don't have to put your shirt over the bandages. I am having a nice dinner with my hubby tomorrow. Then we will hopefully find some light weight zip ups. As of right now, my nerves are pretty much OK. All the support I have received has been such a tremendous help!!!

good luck with your surgery.

I'm thinking about how much I enjoy browsing tumblr. :naughty:

What? They don't have buttoned shirts in CA?
Just kidding.
