Since my case is so rare. This is the first time the Neurologist has had a case like mine. Never have seen it in his 35+ years. They have no clue why I had traumatic hearing loss. Brain was involved with this illness. So I am still trying to find out what caused my problem. If I move my head by bending and standing right up again. I get dizzy, light headed and nauseous. Exercising is impossible because of this and Dystonia. So with all these noises and that on top 24/7 is just too difficult. Brain feels scrambled. This is why I am having a difficult time learning ASL. Short term memory problems due to brain injury. I pray for some relief and calmness for this head/ear problem. Lifes to short to live like this.
You may want to talk to a Dr at Johns Hopkins, He has implanted both CI and a CI like device for balance. Given that your situation is so unique, it may require a unique solution. Let me know if you want that contact info.
