It's really difficult... Dad wants to divorce my mom. He tried everything he could to get my mom "help." Dad even tried to reach out to my mom's best friends and ask for advice, that didn't work too well.

My mom only has one sister and they haven't spoken in like 10 years.

I just have to fix everything, I guess. I'll figure it out.
 
Do you have to go it alone? Are there any free or low-cost counseling services that can help? Social services from the city or county?

It shouldn't have to be all on your shoulders. You are being very brave to face it all, but it's good to be able to get help, too.

My mom refuses to seek any kind of help. I'll have to bring it to her somehow.

KristinaB- how exciting.. soon you'll have peace and mind in your new home! :)

Lanapoo- sorry you have to carry the burden. It's not fair to you. Hope your mom will see the light somehow and soon.



Am thinking how I cannot wait to hit the mall tomorrow for Boxing day sales. :D
Also thinking about mapping out where to visit in US next year. Hmm, while the fares are cheap, I should make plans.
 
Im thinkin when to open my presents and eat TURKEY!!! I woke up late. Oh well! Life is nawt perfect.

Ah, I really don't need any help. I know I can handle it.

On the side note. I can't believe that I JUST woke up. I slept the entire day away. :shock:
 
I am thinking and have been thinking on the new house and how much I can't wait for them to get started. We take the papers in on Thursday to get the property transferred into hubby's and my name, then we will drop off the plans with the Town Hall to get the permits. We will also get the loan check on Friday and pay the money for the septic tank to get started. The building should start on 1-2-12.
 
I am thinking how much I love my new tablet. I can't get enough of it. :)
 
I am thinking , I am home!! I get tired very easily, but we had a lovely Christmas at my daughter's house.

Now I will just sit here for the rest of the evening.

You should try to get some support for yourself you should not have to do this all by yourself. I am not sure why your mom is out of control but there should be some support group or agency that can help you.
 
I'm thinking how physically, and mentally tired I am. The last two days have been non stop. Head hurting trying to lip read with 30 different people. All that work and in one day its all over. Its pretty cold here tonight in Cali. Mid 20's. That's very cold for us. Hooe you all had a great day.

Did you get the IPad? I love mine. Got it last Christmas. I'm still surprised everyday I find something new on it. What:angel: amazes me is the quality of pictures you can take. Plus videos. They turn out great.

Now, how can I start my weight loss when everyone gave us gift cards to all of our favorite restaurants. One special gift my daughter ordered some perfume that I wore on my wedding day its been discontinued for many years. But, I guess there is a company who can somehow find it or whatever. It reminded me of my wedding day. Sleep good everyone. :angel:

I'm thinking how I slept like crap last night. I was sending a PM at 3:00am and now im on here again at 6:00zm. Man, I got to get some sleep.
