Thanks I'll give that a try. We got her when she was very young. If I just got her I would think she was from a puppy mill. She shakes over the littlest thing. Either that or she's smart and does this to get even more attention. We're pretty much inseparable. I love her very much and just want her to be happy. Thanks again.

Little White Shaker syndrome. It is common in Maltese and Bichon.

Yes, Kristina....the roar of those jets, even tho' I don't actually hear them...I do hear them in my mind. So it's external. So many other things I "hear" but actually don't hear....being late-deafened still has given me some sense of "hearing", along with the musicial tennitus.

The visual cue triggers the sound memory, so yes, it can be triggered that way.

Really, I'll have to look it up. My last dog was a mini poodle. Didn't have this problem. I didn't get to spend very much time with him because I worked. He died a few years ago. So sad.
Marley my new dog is great. I didn't know you could love an animal so much.

Sounds weird. Happens in small white dogs. My dog is black I wonder does that still happen. Wow something new every day!!!

Your dog is black? I thought Maltese. My mistake. I don't have that answer for its nervousness then.

Environment?:dunno2:

I don't think there is anything wrong with her environment. She has a very good and happy life. Pretty much spoiled. She just gets freaked with new things that she dosent understand.

Possum, that could be it!! Boy it was funny looking and walking fast and slow at the same time!!

I've seen those in my yard. They have tails but can be hard to see - they look like a giant rat. I even had one hiss at me once! Too funny.

I had one of those fall in my window well one time. It was NOT fun to get out. Those little stinkers have big sharp teeth!!!

I don't even try to fight the stomach flu. I just get cleaned up and go to a restaurant where I have gotten bad service in the past.

Payback :cool2:

Hate that I cry myself to sleep almost every night. Some nights, I just can't sleep at all.

I wonder what kind of animal I saw in my yard tonight! It was not a rabbit or a cat , it walked funny on short legs and had a round body and I don't think it had a tail ! I am glad Marty did not see it ! Do moles have tails? It was a strange looking thing!!

Groundhog?

I am thinking about Deaf Conference in Vegas. I hope to go at least one day while there visiting friends. Maybe event meet some of you all face to face :)

Wishing my step father the best in his "Captions" interview.

^^^Those ones in the wild? They can be nasty... especially if they go down stairs (alone or in pairs).
