9:22pm here...still working on the patio...the stones have to be "just right" and leveled "just so"....so tedious.We're all dirty and I've come in to quit for the day/night. Looks like it's gonna rain anyway, nice & breezy by the river.

I can feel you there! Saturday and Sunday are the days that I have to do outside work...sometimes I feel like one week runs into another.
 
I'm thinking that forgiveness is good for the soul.
 
Something must be up with my cats this evening. Sammy is underneath my chair dead asleep and TinkerBell climbed into my lap to sleep. Now, Sammy has started to lick my leg. They have been sticking close to me all evening.
 
They know something's up !! :lol:

Seriously, whenever something's "off" in my house, the cats show it. Whether someone isn't feeling well, or is upset, etc. They behave different. They pick up on human behavior. It's almost weird !!!

I am thinking I just want to break out into signing (no, not singing :giggle:). My 'heart' is about to burst!!! Sign Language training wheels :ugh3: Take them off me please!!!

I came home yesterday evening from my '24 hours of peace' yesterday at my friends house. It was much needed and I felt refreshed and a bit sad that I had to leave to return home. But it was much needed. Today my batteries are recharged. I can deal with things a bit more now. Wow, I'm just amazed at what 24 hours of peace and relaxation can do for someone. I got back at it this morning going back into my usual routine and the only dissappointment (and it is a minor one) is that I probably won't get my iPhone 4 today due to the floods and my dad has a meeting tonight in Russellville. I need him present at the Verizon store to do anything, without him it is a wasted trip. Maybe later this week but I am trying to be patient with it.

The floods are getting bad enough the Tyson plant in Dardanelle shut down at 10:15 today. :shock: They can't get to the chicken houses due to the roads flooding everywhere. I may post pics on FB later.

Glad you had the opportunity to get some R&R. Hope you have many more opportunities. :)
 
Both cats stayed with me all night and they are still following me around while I take care of MIL. Tinker took time off and slept with MIL for a while today, but is now just 4 feet away lying on the bathroom floor.
 
I am about to call Springdale in regards to USDA. I probably won't get any definites out of it, but at least I'll hopefully have some needed information to continue on. I'm also going in as a regular applicant, not Schedule A, and if I get as far as the hearing test in the hiring process I will have fake it for my left side. My right side should be fine.
 
Just got off the phone with Springdale. Turns out the rumor was true and tomorrow I will be making more phone calls and will be making updates to my USAJobs profile tonight. Hopefully I will be able to have this opportunity made available to me. This is something I do not want to miss.
