I'm thinking "Why did these people from the Bahamas have to come back again!!?" I have to wait for them to leave so I can move my car or hubby can't get out in the morning.

How do you invest in Gold? I'm up for ways to make money on the side, legally.
 
Im thinking my bank is a little overzealous in their security measures. Freaking hell, going back to bank again to get my online banking unblocked. yesterday, it was to get my debit card unblocked. They keep telling me to call the 1 800 number or live online chat but then both would say they can't help me for security reasons. I mean...for pete's sakes.

What is the purpose of the 1 800 number then?

So because you can not talk to them directly on the phone they will not help you? Geez!! That is not even right! Might want to file a complaint and let them know... If they do not comply I would find a bank that would. I would not do business with people that will not assist me.

It's the best bank in Canada and has the highest security in the world...I've already filed a complaint so we'll see. Meanwhile, my teller took care of the issues so now I can online bank again. :)

I am glad they were able to help you. :) Hopefully they will have someone available for the TDD line, or be able to have some one help online next time.
 
I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get started on tomorrow's lunch so I'm cooking dry Cannellini beans that I picked up at the Richmond Wholefoods store last week. My recipe is Zuppa di Cavalo Nero, Cannellini e Salsicce. In English, that's kale, while bean and sausage soup.
 
Thinking about the earthquake in VA that shook my buildiing here in DE. Apparently the office buildings in Wilm, DE (and elsewhere) were evacuated. Our building is one story. We pretty much just walked ariound saying "was that an earthquake?".
Also, appears to have messed with the cellphone towers as I'm having trouble sending a text message to my daughter (though I got through to her shortly after it happened).

I just saw it on the news 5.9 earthquake in Va.. Dang not like you guys do not have enough to worry about with the Hurricane. :eek: I hope everyone is OK. WOW!! Just wow!!

yea I'm having trouble sending message to my mom that I'm ok. I have to stop by home now to assure her :roll:

I just checked the news and I just realized that when my apt shook, it wasn't the workmen outside my apt and it lasted only a mintue. There were no sign of workmen outside my apt and I was very nervous right after my apt shook.
 
I think so figure out how best patient lot of project adjust!
