Chulula hot sauce great on fruit! It taste betterthan Tapatio lol

I'm thinking I may cook dinner earlier than usual. I have a movie that my mother wants to watch. I've seen it multiple times, but she is asking. Also, son wants to watch another DVD for Star Gate Atlantis Season 3.

I thinks figure out see find out cope cut out sugar!

I'm thinking Dallas is such a girl. He's been in the shower now 40 minutes. He will make s late for deaf club barbecue party!

Where are the American made products!! Everything I pick up in a store is made in China. I am now buying lettuce from Canada and have to more for it!! Can't we grow our own food any more!

I am thinking about Monday when I will go to the Riverwoods apartments to pick up an application for an apartment over in Russellville, which is 45 minutes away from here. I'm very intent on doing this and I won't back down. I also was texted about two hours ago and was told that Doc Middleton has posted two vacancies for WAE's at Dardanelle. Whether I go to school or if USDA pans out, I still plan on moving out. My parents know I've been looking at apartments but neither of them think I'm serious. I think when I come home and have the application filled out and returned back they will know I am very serious. I spoke with the manager over the phone and she said that based on the information I provided that I qualify for an income-based apartment but there will be a 4-6 month waiting period at the minimum. I don't mind this waiting period because it will give me time to get money saved up a bit and I plan on getting a storage unit in Russellville and start buying furniture a little bit at a time and putting it in storage until I get the all clear to move in. I am told that all units there have W/D hook ups but I will hold off on that until after I have moved in and gotten settled as there is a laundromat on the premises that residents can use. So far, I have enough put back for the deposits, but I still want more put back to have a bit of a landing pad in case things get rough.

Gonna hit the hay. Got to get up and get ready for church. Next Sunday will be a long one. We will have service with a guest speaker, a potluck lunch, then a memorial service for a long time member who died last Sunday morning.

I like chili lime seasoning on fruit, too. Spicy and tart all at the same time.

Man, so, so true! I have been trying as much as possible to buy local produce and local seafood. It's not too difficult in the summer, as the grocery stores do stock local produce and highlight it, plus there is a Saturday farmer's market, plus local produce stands.

But in the winter, another story entirely. Then I have to really search to find U.S.-grown, which I like to support whenever possible.

When all else fails, start your own garden. Sure it's a lot of work but the payoff is knowing your food source, and it tastes 100 times better than the stuff at the store.

Also, if you have an excess you can either deep freeze it for later or sell it for a small profit.

Trader's Joe. lot of food comes from local/domestic farmers

or Farmer's Markets. usually held on weekly basis.

Oh, I do actually, on a very small scale. I have a huge pot for tomatoes on the back deck. Two plants, one is large tomatoes, and one is very sweet, yummy grape tomatoes. Plus basil, of course - can't have tomatoes without basil.

We also have wild blackberries - delicious! - and a couple of blueberry bushes that I think the birds and rabbits get to all too often before we do, unfortunately. We have gotten some fruit, though, and they were good.

Also have a fig tree, but so far, only a couple of figs from it.

Yes, as I mentioned, in the summer we go every Saturday to the farmer's market, and to the local produce stands.

But they don't go year-round. They close up in October, and then we move back to winter headquarters ourselves.

Buy in bulk in season and can / freeze.

Not practical. We spend summers in one place, winters someplace else. It's not practical to transport a lot of frozen or canned food from one place to the other.

I am thinking of being blessed w a passion to dance & sign!

I'm thinking of how one who is stone deaf can lipread and feel like they're hearing the speaker instead of lipreading.

That's a funny thought, PFH. I lip read and I know that I can't hear them. From my point of view, it's just trying to fill in the blanks.

I bit headache often seems I believe it headache not solve issues i thinks med not work! I guess might to exciting because easy scared i learn it!
