I'm thinking about nothing. Zen.
I thought about that... It didn't amount to much.

Thinking about school shopping tomorrow. Shoe shopping is the one I hate the most!!! It takes them FOREVER to pick out a pair of shoes they like. UGH!! Might as well get it overwith.
shopping at walmart makes poor people even more poor. shame on you guys.
yup. Low wages, and shipping our currency out to china, etc....
Then where else?
Done that with my daughter last week but have yet to do it with my son. Yea, I hate shopping for school supplies because that area is usually insanly packed unless I go to Walmart at midnight.
local shops. I know its a bit more expensive but hey... If everyone contributed to their mom and pop shops we wouldn't be contributing to the Walton family and china.
No mom and pop shops around here. Also, my salary had been reduced for the last 4 years with no raise. It is a no win situation.
It's a scary world. My work is going to lay off over 2000 employees soon. I have survived 4 layoffs in the past 10 years here but there is never any guarantee. I NEVER shop at Wallmart. Shop at Target or your local stores. It may take a little more work to find everything, but your local economy is better off for it.

Ever shop at Bealls?....We like it...and on Friday, Sat. & Sunday (Aug. 12, 13 & 14th)...there will be no sales tax....and shoes up to 60% off...my boys buy a lot of their clothes there and shoes too...Plus, on Monday's, I can get an extra 15% off....That's where we are going for school clothes/shoes/back packs, etc. I also save a lot on household decor there.
