Ooo I have my ASL 3 class this term and hoping they will add the fingerspelling class I talked to diana or what ever her name is about it and they might add one!!

If lots of people ask you for it, sell them!!! :P I did that with my midterm exam study guide back in HS when my classmates were too lazy to do their own study guide. xD
 
Up until now all of the classes I have taken I didn't need to hear, and my hearing also was better last term, like math I have a book that tells me what the teach is teaching and art history same thing, all of them didn't really require me to pay attention! So that is why I am having such anxiety over stupid public speaking and yes calling it stupid makes me feel better :)

Yes, this is how many of us who were brought up mainstream feel. I came to feel that there was nothing different about me from hearing people--I just had a bit of a "hearing problem."

Finally, after 25 years, I realized, "Hey, I am different. But guess what: IT'S OKAY."

There's nothing to be ashamed of, and you have no need to feel weird about receiving help. Get it. The services are there for you. You'll be amazed at how well you're able to actually compete in an academic setting, and how easy it is to come out of the shadows when you fully understand what is going on around you thanks to accommodations.
 
Now I am thinking about how this incident that happened earlier now makes me look paranoid. UGH!
 
Thank you for answering all of my constant mindnumbing questions without making me feel like an idiot for asking and trust me there are plenty more to come...

True that.

But there is an element of frustration on this board these days. The amount of postings and threads by him has gone totally overboard. We can use the ignore feature to block out his posts, but we can't block out his threads and the sheer volume of them cluttering up our New Posts hour in, hour out. So I totally understand TWA's post.

I understand it too. I also know he tells Matajan, you don't have Asperger's then list characteristics that lots of Asperger people have.

I have seen the Matajan short film. He looks in mannerism like lots of Asperger people , including me.

Everyone knows I like sock monkeys, eyeglasses, maps. They don't know my latest interest in electric toothbrushes.

I am pretty good about not sharing any obsessive interest too much.

He isn't . They should just ban him instead of having people constantly ridicule him.

He is in a stage where he won't be able to stop.

So, electric toothbrushes! A specific color or ?
 
I agree with Botts that they should just permban him instead of allowing him to be fodder........need not say more....
 
What the hell did that lady tell me at the bookstore.... I asked for a book for one of my classes and she went on some rant I asked twice for her to repeat herself and it got me nowhere I then asked for her to write it down... Ya I have a better chance of catching syphilis from a nun then I do reading this chicken scratch...
 
I'm thinking...I have to shower soon and head to work...boo. Also ...I want to go to a Safari O__O
