If you like coffee, you could start roasting your own coffee beans? I know a lot of people who make a big hobby of that.

I am thinking about how of a great job my brother and I cleaned up and fixed my backyard after the 2 blizzards ruined a lot of things.

That's great!! I'm so glad that you and your brother have such a good relationship. It sometimes makes me very jealous. I know you have your trials and tribulations in life, but it's great when there is something so strong to fall back on as the love and companionship of your siblings.
 
I am thinking about a bowl of apple jacks and coffee.

No, milk and Apple Jacks in the bowl with a cup of coffee on the side. I dont want to know about how the Cheerios and Orange Juice came about. :giggle:

I feel blessed to have him. Being the only deaf people in our families really strengthened our bond.
 
It would have been awesome if my brother were deaf instead of hearing. I think we would have gotten much closer as siblings. Me being the only deaf member in my family, I sometimes feel very left out.

I have a deaf sister, and even with her, I feel left out because we grew up oral deafs. She learned ASL very late in her life. and now I'm learning it at the same age when she first learned it. It frustrate us because we could have been close growing up and talk about our experiences together. So I know where you are coming from.

Sometimes, even deaf siblings arent close. My best friend has a deaf brother but they cant stand each other even though they are the only ones deaf in their family. A Deaf coworker who is from a Deaf family is not on speaking terms with her Deaf sister.

Most people whom I know who has a deaf sibling tend to be close to them anyways.
 
Thinking I'm very lucky to have not just a twin brother, but a deaf twin brother.
