I am thinking that I can't wait for summer! All the rain is causing the snow to melt, so there is flooding and more snow coming on Thursday, maybe 12inches! I miss leaving the house and having things to do that don't cost money :)

Nah, I am using my iPhone tethering, cause I know the University wireless suck - they are usually congested and the room I am in is full of students.

How well does the iphone tether set up work. Well enough to ditch the netbook?

no no. you can tether your BB to any laptop if there's no wifi. For now - it's free doing that via Spring and T-mobile but for other services.... they charge you.

You're from Finland? I know someone from Esbo! (Espoo in Finnish)
I've lived in Espoo (Esbo in swedish) when I was studying, and later when I lived in Vantaa (Vanda in swedish) I worked in Espoo in company that made diving equiptments. I was working in R&D division in that company. Many years ago.
How you know people from Finland?

I was involved in the Walt Disney World College Program, while I was delivering components for a ride tour at the Norwegian Pavilion (I think it's called Maelstrom), I struck a conversation with one of the attendants. That's how I learned how intersting Scandinavia's past is.

Like Jiro said - you need a computer to connect the iPhone (same as BB) to connect the internet, I connect my iPhone via USB cable for my new laptop or other alternative I can connect via bluetooth too (although drains the battery)

AT&T's 3G is best performance.

Oh ok.....I was wondering if I was grossly overpaying having an iphone and netbook withAT&T
