thinking that we keep getting these surprise winter storms. Got another one tonight.

Maybe they'll cancel school and you can catch up on your sleep.

I hope so...but I hope my son will let me catch up on my sleep. LOl!

Man, work was hell today which was surprising because I thought it would be yesterday due to arrriving home at 8PM from NYC. It seems like I always get hit 48 hours later not 24. I woke up with a major migraine headache but I still went to work. Felt so dizzy all day from the headache. However, the irony was that I had a great math lesson today. LOL!

How's the head now? Also - great that something went right all things considered.

Hope you Shel and Kristina will feel better after some lovely rest.

By the way, being rich is better than famous but then you'll have to watch out for gold diggers too. Hmm...

Am feeling tired all the time.

okay - the day has caught up with me and it's time for me to get to bed. Hopefully I can sleep for more than 2-3 hours. Have to keep a boring book next to the bed just in case.

I'm thinking about how glad today isn't one of those bad stomach ache day. Tomorrow, who knows?

I am thinking that my professors panicked today with the 'snow' today. We got about an inch on Long Island. I got up this morning and had 3 emails canceling my classes today. LOL Woo HOO!

I am thinking about how much I dont like my daughter's attitude towards all of us now that she is moving. It seems like she doesnt care about us anymore. When school was cancelled due to snow, she was all thrilled when before she would get upset. I asked her why she was so thrilled knowing that she will have to make it up. She said "Duh, mom...I will be in AZ and wont need to make it up. Hahahaha."

I am getting sick and tired of her "I dont give a fuck" attitude about everything here.

What should I do?

Another one was when I told her that Nathan will miss her. She was like, "He has the dog."

Wow...that was cold.

Unfortunately she looks like she is hitting the teen angst stage early. And most times the person that they are closest too gets the brunt of it. I have seen small things from my son as well, he's 12 also. But we have a good relationship.

My son hates his father at this time. My ex loves to try to make my son hate me. Telling him things that he really has no need to know (things before and during the divorce) *sigh* I have told my son to tell his father "I don't feel comfortable about what you are telling me. I am respectfully asking you to stop."

I lived with two girls who went through teenage attitude. Hold your breath, bite your tongue, sit on your hands, and smile pleasantly until she goes off to AZ.

Later in life you won't regret saying nothing to widen the void, and you may still become close to your daughter as she matures.

And you won't give her an excuse to hold a grudge. I am sorry this is happening to you.

Teenage. She wants to be independent from you and yet still be alittle girl. The most confusing time of her life. The disrespectful tone is her wishing to be independent. Unfortunately, her dad is letting her get away with her attitude. That's why I told you the good news is that you won't have to put up with teenage attitude. her dad will :D

Wow :aw: Best Advice! :ty: I need preparing of my girls! :giggle:

New semester starts tomorrow. :) For the most part, I have pretty good courses. It's a mix of easy & hard.

Just got home from my ASL class. Aced my 2 tests. One on the deaf history and culture handout we got last week and the other on the 57 words we have to sign. Extra credit went towards making up sentences and I got 25 sentences. Woo hoo!!

I have another bit of deaf culture and another 60 words to do this week and making up as many sentences as we can. We are to try to have simple conversations is ASL starting next week.

Well done, Kristina! Keep on acing all the tests and in no time ,you'll be fluent in ASL. Whoo. How are you kids doing in ASL classes?

Shel, tsk on your daughter for making things harder on y'all. Maybe using a bit of reverse psychology will work?

Jiro, keep your eyes off Frisky's undies.
