light removable layers....that is what i am going to do. Thank goodness the resturant isn't that far away from one another.
 
I'm thinking that when we have the money I'm gonna have to buy daughter a new DS Lite or something. The connection to charge her DS is messed up and I have to do some funky tape job to hold the cord in a specific way just so it will charge.

Buy a new charger. It will be much cheaper. Check Game Stop, Gamers, Ebay, etc.

Charger is fine - it's the DS connection port. She managed to twist it a little by stepping on the cord at the DS while it was charging.
 
I have a nice friend who helps me fix such stuff. He runs a small computer fix it shop. Perhaps you could ask around? Bet a city as large as yours would have some nice shops. Those that Ms. Botts suggested perhaps?

Game Stop said to trash it. I will check around. She messed up the screen on her original DS, Son did the same with his and now she is using the DS that was mine and son got a PSP for Christmas from MIL.

I am thinking why does the snow have to come now when we are getting ready to leave to DC to take the bus to NYC. So far it is light..

Yes I know i saw your weather over there. Just that i added "no snow" in a positive way for NYC here but windy. Last night it was pretty cold. I think scarf will help a little. For me, i hate to carry the scarf in NYC so i wouldnt bring it. I ll try to move a lot to keep myself warm.
