I am thinking a good night's sleep, and a refreshing shower really changes one's perspective. I feel great!!!

Getting kids to get their schoolwork done, then fix lunch, take MIL grocery shopping then-----my 1st ASL class is tonight!!!

Thinking about how special today is :)

I am officially a mommy of a FOUR year old kiddo!

:squint: I do need to buy t shirts for my kiddos.
 
I am back from class and boy, it was different. We were supposed to have 30 and only 17 showed up. Turns out they switched a bunch of people around and I am still the only deaf one, one guy is total hearing, but know some ASL and has to refresh. He had throat cancer and a few years ago had the surgery and had to go 1 year with no speaking, well, the cancer came back and he's having surgery again in May. The rest of the class consists of teachers either from the local public school system or Head Start.

We went over history (Laurent Clerc and Gallaudet) and pronouns and then some basic signs (43 words) and we have to have it all memorized before next class. there is a test when we walk in the room. Luckily, I already knew them all. At one point I felt the floor vibrate and the desk was vibrating and as I was looking concerned and around, the class started laughing, instructor admonished them and explained that it was rude and then explained to me that it was a train going by. The tracks are behind the building and I had forgotten.

He is so very cute!! I have an adorable 3 year old granddaughter. (arranged marriages can work ;) )
 
I'm thinking about how excited I am to meet my girlfriend in real life next month! We can't wait!!!!!

Hope you feel better!. may I giggle one single? maybe it's not a good idea! i hope you are feeling better. well, I got new several zits that is usunusal. I also got my neck real real sore unexpectedly and lastly, there is something else that show up in my body, why right before this weekend. :hmm:

I'm thinking my MIL just needs to break down and buy a new refridgerator. For the 6 of us, we are using a small 16 cubic foot fridge that is over 20 years old. She has to have the repair guy come out every 3-4 months and it's getting old having to put everything into a cooler for 2 days.
 
Also, wish us luck - It seems that every 4 years, the airport tries to get approval for a buyout of the neighborhood. They want to expand the runways. It would mean over 200 homes lost as well as a well established (75 years) Baptist church, it's private school PreK to grade 8, and about 15 businesses. The next vote comes through in the next few months. That's why MIL doesn't do put any money into the house. We need new windows and wiring, but she won't do it for fear the airport wins.
 
I am thinking that I am a WUSS! I got up this morning to get my butt over to the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) *looks pointedly at Botts :lol:* to get over to Suffolk County Community College to find out my options. Took one look at the snow and crawled right back into bed. I didn't want to deal with the weather as well as the public transit system. LOL
